Way to answer in the absolute most obnoxious way possible

Three months ago there was a title game on the line and we saw Steve Angeli. Now three months later it’s Kenny Minchey. You have said you have coached FB a lot of years. Simply curious as to your insights. Why are you asking me ? Having a difficult time accepting what has transpired ? Do you question your beloved Lincoln Riley in his decision making with such fervor also ?
Why would an Angeli upgrade portal in to sit the bench.Idk. I’d definetly be looking at the portal now for a Angelli upgrade. Jmo
He's not going to be named starter. They will compete until August and if Minchey loses the job he will be the backup. He can't transfer at that point and play anywhere else. Why would an Angeli upgrade portal in to sit the bench.
Why?
I am curious after Carr is named the starter why Kenny Minchey would stay and sit the bench for a third straight season.
It's no longer the case...Minchey although unproven is simply more talented than Steve and that's great news cause Carr is even more talented than Minchey! Time to step up CJ and win a title 🍀Third in line??? Well, then I kinda wonder, when Riley Leonard was hurt, why Kenny Minchey, after being in the program well over a year, did not go in against Penn State, with a title game on the line.
Instead, it was Steve Angeli.
Why would an Angeli upgrade portal in to sit the bench.
Why?

Because we are one play away from needing that caliber of QB to win a championship . A jack Coan type would be a need at this point. Especially if Michey transfers out like you’re insinuating he should. Why would an Angeli upgrade portal in to sit the bench.
Why?

It would seem that Minchey passed Angeli by in spring practice. Happens all the time.Simply curious why Kenny Minchey wasn't called upon against Penn State when Riley Leonard got hurt.
That's it.
Because obviously the coaching staff decided that going forward with a younger player with better skills and a higher ceiling is a better option for the 2025 season.Three months ago there was a title game on the line and we saw Steve Angeli. Now three months later it’s Kenny Minchey. You have said you have coached FB a lot of years. Simply curious as to your insights.
A starter won't be named until mid August at least. Where do you suggest he could go then ?Why would an Angeli upgrade portal in to sit the bench.
Why?

The players, IMO, know now. So do the coaches. Kenny Minchey has been in South Bend over two years, and CJ Carr over a year. Nothing will change in 4 months.A starter won't be named until mid August at least. Where do you suggest he could go then ?
HCs don't operate that way if they plan on staying a HC long. Your word means everything and once you lose credibility with prospects it's game over on your careerThe players, IMO, know now. So do the coaches. Kenny Minchey has been in South Bend over two years, and CJ Carr over a year. Nothing will change in 4 months.
Marcus Freeman can say there is a competition, there isn’t. CJ Carr will be the starter, IMO. The only reason a starter won’t be named now is because the coaches do not want another QB to portal.
It’s arguable Kenny Minchey should portal now, negotiate a deal, and not sit the bench for a third straight year.A starter won't be named until mid August at least. Where do you suggest he could go then ?
Maybe the coaching staff felt Angeli had reached his limit and more growth was not likely.Three months ago there was a title game on the line and we saw Steve Angeli. Now three months later it’s Kenny Minchey. You have said you have coached FB a lot of years. Simply curious as to your insights.
Fair enough.Maybe the coaching staff felt Angeli had reached his limit and more growth was not likely.
Maybe what they saw told them that he simply was not what they wanted.
and spring practice finalized that decision.
You can speculate all you want. Freeman publicly said he wanted a two man competition in camp. Angeli was obviously the odd man out.The players, IMO, know now. So do the coaches. Kenny Minchey has been in South Bend over two years, and CJ Carr over a year. Nothing will change in 4 months.

Just guessing but I would think that would be up to Minchey. It’s arguable Kenny Minchey should portal now, negotiate a deal, and not sit the bench for a third straight year.
What else is he supposed to say? He does not want Minchey to transfer. You can speculate all you want. Freeman publicly said he wanted a two man competition in camp. Angeli was obviously the odd man out.
Huh? He could have told them that the 2 man battle was between Carr and Angeli. He was honest and said it was Carr and Minchey. What else is he supposed to say? He does not want Minchey to transfer.
Who actually has more experience at QB than any guy on the roster. Intriguing...Everyone's forgetting we still have buchner.
Totally just joking guys : D
Our WRs run screaming into the night....Who actually has more experience at QB than any guy on the roster. Intriguing...![]()
Nah. Just go 23 personnel and run the wishbone. After all, there are 6 RBs who can play. We'll call them The Hexback Coalition. Our WRs run screaming into the night....
Believe what you choose to believe. What else is he supposed to say? He does not want Minchey to transfer.
Now what happens with Minchey if Carr is named the starter..
When has our backup ever not played meaningful minutes? Why would an Angeli upgrade portal in to sit the bench.
Why?
I am curious after Carr is named the starter why Kenny Minchey would stay and sit the bench for a third straight season.
"Everyone is stating..."Everyone is stating Minchey will portal next, he’s probably a year away from his ND degree, might hang in there for that. Plus CMF might utilize Minchey even if Carr is the starter.
I agree 100 percent. This transfer is going to bite us if Carr goes down.We have 5 tough games in the 1st half of the year and Miami and Texas A&M defenses will bring the heat. I'm telling you injuries happen and we just lost our best insurance policy.
Can't expect a kid to stay based on "if".I agree 100 percent. This transfer is going to bite us if Carr goes down.
Why? We have the number 2 guy on the team in Minchey.I agree 100 percent. This transfer is going to bite us if Carr goes down.
and maybe Angeli wants to start? Ever think of that? They could have paid Angeli more, just to stay and be #2, make it worth his while. Then transfer to the MAC as a senior. The NFL pays their back up QBs well. It's a critical position. But then Minchey might transfer.
I just said he could transfer and start next year, you bimbo. I was looking at it from ND's point of view, and they don't want to lose him, because they want the depth, and they want him as a veteran #2. And maybe they could pay him extra, enough so that he might stay. Because you can do that now. And he would still have one year left to transfer. Does that compute in your mongoloid brain?and maybe Angeli wants to start? Ever think of that?
I believe that is the sole reason Steve left. Steve Angeli also graduates in May with his Notre Dame degree, with two seasons to play. Kenny Minchey has not graduated from Notre Dame, still has three seasons to play if he chooses to, and it is far easier for Coach Freeman to keep Kenny Minchey.and maybe Angeli wants to start? Ever think of that?
hey moron, you said basically that money was all that mattersI just said he could transfer and start next year, you bimbo. but some here think money will buy everyone all the timeI believe that is the sole reason Steve left. Steve Angeli also graduates in May with his Notre Dame degree, with two seasons to play. I hope you’re right brother. Why? We have the number 2 guy on the team in Minchey.
What? WTF are you talking about? Oh, I get it, in your lust to see these players play for free, and not take any money and just be slaves because that turns you on for some morbid reason, you're saying that the chance to start somewhere else means more to him than any extra money ND might give him which they probably didn't offer him in any case, and if anything he stands to make more money somewhere else if he becomes the starter, a lot more, totally obliterating your whole point. If anything, it may be accurate to say that Angeli left precisely because of the money. He'll get a better deal straightaway, right off the bat, depending on where he lands, and if he wins the starting job with whoever he lands with get a nice pay bump, which is what I suggesting ND might do which presumably they did not.hey moron, you said basically that money was all that matters
