I realize $$$$$$$$ was the reason; however, Nebraska in the Big 10 is, to this point, an unmitigated disaster in Lincoln.I was pulling for him to turn Nebraska around but enough is enough. That was one of the dumbest calls I’ve ever seen.
After Herbie predicted the Huskies in the Big10 championship game?looking like Scott Frost’s last year. Not sure anyone can fix Nebraska
6-24 in one score games in last 4 yearsWell if it really is true that no one can fix Nebraska, they might as well keep Scott Frost forever. Eventually he probably will turn it around. He seems like a good coach, he definitely was good at UCF.
So just let Scott Frost have the job indefinitely. As long as they keep losing all their games by less than one score....
Yea, Frost knows his stuff. But if Frost an Alum and Nebraska football legend can’t make it then who can????looking like Scott Frost’s last year. Not sure anyone can fix Nebraska

Hard to recruit someone to be a Cornhusker lol
Frost had 1 good year as a head coach. I think you can be successful there. Maybe it's just that he can't.Yea, Frost knows his stuff. But if Frost an Alum and Nebraska football legend can’t make it then who can????

Nebraska should have never left the Titantic 12? That conference won't exist as we knew it in one more year.Frost had 1 good year as a head coach. I think you can be successful there. Maybe it's just that he can't.
Nebraska should have never left the Big 12
The move destroyed the recruiting base.Nebraska should have never left the Titantic 12? That conference won't exist as we knew it in one more year.
I read the Nebraska QB turns 24 in October. That experience should help Scott Frost at least win 7 games.Kinda sad, it is hard not to pull for the QB who came back to rescue a falling dynasty.

Meanwhile, Tyler Buchner is 19.
Definitely should have never left. Killed that programNebraska should have never left the Titantic 12? That conference won't exist as we knew it in one more year.
Wow!!! He is older than a lot of starting NFL QBs.I read the Nebraska QB turns 24 in October. That experience should help Scott Frost at least win 7 games.

True. Stetson Bennett turns 25 in October. He is older than Ian Book, who spent 5 seasons in South Bend.Wow!!! He is older than a lot of starting NFL QBs.
Dude. At least use quotations.Riveting.

Luke who? They have a great tradition and lots of passion. Like Bama who didn’t win crap for a very long time the right coach came along.
Frost is not the guy. They should move on. Go after Luke or the dude at Wake or someone better.
What makes it worse is that it was initiated by Nebraska's hero: Tom Osborne.Definitely should have never left. Killed that program
No...Frost had 1 good year as a head coach. I think you can be successful there. Maybe it's just that he can't.
Nebraska should have never left the Big 12
They indeed have a lot of passion. And they should. Zero professional sports in Nebraska, just like Alabama; frankly, its the only game in town or the entire state. They have a great tradition and lots of passion. Like Bama who didn’t win crap for a very long time the right coach came along.
Frost is not the guy. They should move on. Go after Luke or the dude at Wake or someone better.
I dunno about that. The problem is that Nebraska and the nearby Midwest states as a whole are low on talent compared where Bama is located. They have a great tradition and lots of passion. Like Bama who didn’t win crap for a very long time the right coach came along.

Thats who I thought you meant.Cinci dude

Yeah, they used to get a ton of players from Texas. Not so much anymore. The move destroyed the recruiting base.
Read the bios on Luke Fickell, his wife, and 6 young kids. Ohio born, Ohio bred.Cinci dude
The Notre Dame gig was open. And Luke Fickell is a devout Catholic.Money talks. I’m sure Warren Buffett could change his mind.
Right. And being in the BIG 12, these Texas players would come back home as a road opponent 2-3 times a year. And there were traditional rivalries that kids were eager to be a part of. By going to the Big 10, Osborne killed that. Why would a kid from Texas want to go to Nebraska to play Rutgers, Iowa, and Minnessota? Schools nowhere close to where you grew up and was not traditional CFB. This is what pisses me off about all this conference realignment.Yeah, they used to get a ton of players from Texas. Not so much anymore.
Well....Read the bios on Luke Fickell, his wife, and 6 young kids. Ohio born, Ohio bred.
Like Golson said, they ain't going to Nebraska.
Columbus one day? Certainly.
The musical conferences are truly stupid and you can bet your ass long term most who make a move will rue the day they switchedRight. Unless they recover it...right?The onside kick was just an awful awful call by Frost. Changed the game
