My advice would be to Red Shirt your true Frosh year. Take as many credit hours as you can so you can be on pace to graduate in 3 years. Which would be your RS Soph / Junior year.
Compete that Spring for the QB1 job. If it is still not happening for you. Grad transfer with your ND degree and try to find a school where you can be QB1.
