Even if ND won the ACC championship, they would still be in the Fiesta Bowl.

Who in the top 4 would they jump???

A weak SOS and the 1 loss kept ND out of the playoffs.

Also, the 1 and only team that beat ND is undefeated and in the top 4.

Being in a conference would have done nothing for ND and the playoffs.
