You need to live by it. I don't see why you would delete it, person who predicts 12-0 ND every year.

I am a huuuuge Bodmeister supporterBodi is a great American who has served his country.
He was one of the first to promote our great leader Donald J. Trump. And finally he escorted B Polian on his trip to Hawaii to wrap up the commitment of Big Myron.
He knows the Irish are in for a big season in 18.
Irishscrewie is a putz and is probably related to the board nitwit purs.
umm, that is the kind of character (or lack of...) that is blown about by every breeze. Just thank your lucky stars your not in an open boat on the high seas with him! keep 1 eye open at all times!
he also authored this one: (an then there was the also his total meltdown re Kelly on this site, way back)
"Hopefully Swarbrick can convince Coach Kelly to step down after the season. I like Coach Kelly but I love the Irish and want to get to the next level.
1. Coach Kelly has done a good job making the Irish job attractive again for the next coach. I hope the Irish can get a top notch outside hire but if they can't just hire Mike Denbrock.
2.
3. I eat my crow in thinking this Irish team was destined for Greatness !
4.
5. Hats off to Texas and Michigan State.
6.
7. *** I will still cheer for the Irish for all their games but I might skip a few and won't get really interested until they become relevant again. I wish we could get a coach like Urban Meyer.
8.
9. *** But I refuse to trash the current staff or team. I wish them all the success.
10.
11. *** And God bless all of you Irish fans ! Bodizephax, Saturday at 11:32 PM"

Says the "model of character" on this board... hilarious. You suck Purse.
Here is what I'd like to see for 2017
1) 4-1 start at a minimum.
(A huge home win vs Georgia would go a long way).
2) 9-3 or better record. Not asking for the world but with the 2018 schedule being the toughest in years and years. You need great momentum.
3) Great excitement/ Recruiting for 2018
4) Being the tougher team- week in and week out.
5) No in game mistakes from Kelly- two point sheet stuff. Etc etc.
Basically, great physicality and relentless effort by the players and coaching staff.

Defense sounds kind of like the 2012 defense at this time of year. I believe that defense had six new starters.and the following new to be 'key' players are unknown/unproven on the field as yet:
Wim @QB
All RB's except Adams
All WR's (ex. St Brown)
All TE's (as recievers; Jones has some experience but not as key starter guy; sat out a year)
RG or RT? (1 gets a rookie)
Defensively:
both DE's are new starters who have little PT experience
NT is Just J Tillery; and he is playing for injury free draft status. Cage may not even play
Rover: new position with out of position Tranquil; backed by inexperienced rooks
LBer: Morgan and?
DB: Watkins and rooks.
So really, we know little about the '17 team! Or it's coaches!

You can't really count Smith going into 2012. He was a freshman who we thought would be good, but you never know. And they had TE'O
And they had Tuitt
And they had Smith
And they had KLM
you got 4 like that?

Pers is a nitwit and you are dumber.I love how posters jump on Pers for for simply being a realist!
Bodi and Pennick can't stop drinking the Kelly Kool aid. Kelly has done an absolutely terrible job at ND. He would have been fired at any of the elite football schools i.e. Bama, OSU, or even Texas for that matter. You guys act like Kelly has won a championship or something. The guy has NEVER won a big game or a major bowl while at ND. Bama beat down OSU beat down.
Pers loves ND football as much as any other poster on this board. He hasn't been a fan of Kelly from day one and each year he has been proven right.
The commies gave him a hard time when he was sacking the villages and crawling down those tunnels at Cu Chi!Bodi is a great American who has served his country.

Funny, everything I challenge you on is football related. I never take personal shots or name call. Answer my post on Kelly winning big games or major bowls.Pers is a nitwit and you are dumber.

Every buzz kill negative Nancy on every board is 100% convinced they are a "realist".I love how posters jump on Pers for for simply being a realist!.
First of all, you will have to define what a successful season is, for a coach that is nearing a decade at a school and has yet to win a major bowl game.Zorich...I don't hate Kelly, nor do I consider myself anti Kelly. That said, I believe Kelly deserved to be fired for his inexplicable support for BVG, and the disastrous impact this had on the program. He put friendship before the best interest of the program, and should have been fired for this. He wasn't, and after the disaster that was last season, he has acted like a man on a mission to salvage the program and his reputation, and I like literally every move he has made. Despite believing he should have been fired, I want Kelly to be successful, as this equates to ND being successful. That's not drinking koolaid; it's being a realist in accepting he is the HC, and it's being a ND fan in supporting the team and objectively reacting to the many changes he has made this offseason, and acknowledging that he has addressed nearly every shortcoming that has been debated here endlessly for the past few years. Kelly will rightfully deserve credit if we have a 10 win season and we see significant improvement in overall team performance, and he will rightfully deserve criticism and being fired if we don't see marked improvement across the board, including his in game decision making. The vast majority of Kool aid drinkers here, as you refer to them, will be calling for his firing if we see poor team performance; but the question is will you and Perse etc al acknowledge his leadership and HC abilities if we have a successful season?
Since we're discussing whether you would come on here and acknowledge Kelly and give him credit, it's more appropriate for you to define this.First of all, you will have to define what a successful season is, for a coach that is nearing a decade at a school and has yet to win a major bowl game.

And so the Irish went 4-8. BK and his staff did a bad coaching job. Things may or may not get better. What are any of you going to do about it? Not much, other than start threads on various message boards and post talking points day after day about the same thing. You guys are powerless no matter what. There is nothing any of us can do about any of this, so, naturally, the next best thing is to attack fans who are willing to support the kids and new staff. Attacking BK didn't work. Attacking Jack and Jenkins didn't work. "Letter writing" campaigns had no shot. Having friends in high places is nothing more than your fantasy. Bk has been attacked on all fronts, from the ridiculous to the factual. He's still standing. What is all this daily crying and bitching to other strangers sitting behind a keyboard supposed to accomplish? This is so idiotic that one of "yours" swore off posting here and watching any games in 2017 in protest, only, he was quickly back under a new name after realizing none of his family and friends wanted to hear about it anymore either. Take a breath. Count to ten. Give the players and revamped staff a chance. You have no choice so just go with the flow.
Recruiting wise, Elko is a huge plus over BVG. But he is still not going to bring elite talent to ND.
W/o top talent ND can be good, just not great.
You say he has never won a big game but how many of these top coaches can say they went to a National Championship and possibly 2 more if it weren't for close losses to tough teams. FSU loss, Clemson loss, Stanford loss which i believe were all on the road at night. Kelly has not been perfect but it is not easy to win at ND with all the restrictions. He made some bad hires with some people but it seems that he has made the change and it looks like he made some good hires. He is not a bad coach. JS sees that and that is why Kelly was retained. I am not saying he is Saban or Meyer but those are 2 of the best coaches of all time you are trying to compare him to.
Actually, I do have another choice. I will continue to bitch about Kelly until he's gone. You can all choose to bury your head in the sand, but once again toward the end of next failed season many of you will be saying the same thing I am in February. The most delusional of us all (Bodi) was calling for Kellys head at the end of the year and now he's back with this 12-0 predictions, sounding like a complete fool. You bring back threads showing this and he deletes him. That's ****ing weak and he needs to own up to it. "One of yours", that's the argument you make. That's about as weak as it can get.
