Fighting Kelly’s of LSU

Okay, psycho. Keep defending yourself. You guys are totally deranged. But as long as enough of you are doing it, and you got the safety in numbers, and the anonymity of the internet, you're not going to stop. I guess it's not really that shocking. This is total, normal human behavior. What's not normal is this kind aggression focused on one guy, especially one that was such a great coach at ND. Usually it's directed towards a racial group or at least a politician. And you can sort of justify it with a politician. With BK it's completely bonkers. He didn't lose, he won big at ND. So it's just like hate for hate's sake, and you need to unleash it on somebody. And once it got started it's not gonna stop. You'd have to back down and admit you were wrong and there's no chance of that. Not for something like this. This is unforgivable what you're doing. So it'll go on forever. No turning back.

And LSU fans 100% have been taking their cues from ND fans from the beginning. Not all of them, just the psychos. But that counts for a lot of football fans.
You lost me when you said he was "great" at ND. That would imply that he wins NC, however he didn't do that. For that matter he didn't win a big game at ND either. He's an arrogant prick, always has been. People/players don't like him. I am happier then a pig in $hit that he is failing at LSU. Couldn't happen to a bigger dick

BK just seems to put himself on a island when coaching and the team seems disconnected. They perform on they're own and not thru him. Same when he was at ND. He just seems to act as if he's too good to be wrong so its the players and coaches fault. He moved to SEC and is now getting it handed to him again. I almost anticipate his tantrums lol its funny to me but bad for the team. I watch just to see him go down. He wants to be considered a top tier coach. He isn't, and sjb I don't GAF what he gets paid
You're just babbling. He doesn't want to be considered a top tier coach, where the F did you get that from? You just made it up. Everything I say about you guys is on the money, on the penny correct. And you keep doubling down,. and keep self-justifying. Now you're just babbling, spitting out anything that sounds vaguely semi coherent, as a means of justifying yourself. And it's never gonna stop. I would say you need help, but you're beyond help. There's no coming back from this. If he won a championship at LSU, you would be forced to make some constrained gesture of deference. Other than that, nothing, 'til the end.

He's none of those things, he's ND's all time winningest coach, he's perfectly fine in every way. He's inoffensive in every way, even to a meathead. There's nothing to hate about him. This is obviously some kind of mass psychosis. Which you are swept up in.

This season ND is better than LSU (ive conceded this point) but overall comparing MF and BK (because this season isn't even finished yet and you get a better picture of performance when incorporating more data than just one season) its been pretty close in terms of these programs respective productivity overall. When you add the fact that LSU has a top 5 class and NDs class is ranked 14th using the 247 composite rankings it paints a brighter picture for LSU going forward.
This so called dream class , is already falling apart. They had a big time o line de commit and the prize qb is going to go to Michigan.
And after last night. And possibly one more loss we’ll see where the chips fall at the end.

He will NEVER win a NC at LSU. Are you BK bff or wife?

Obviously, your the fringe who supports BK. I have no issue with it, I don’t understand why. He won jack shit at ND. He vacated his only decent season and even that season he oversaw one of the worst losses in our history.

He is no Lou, Ara or even a Devine. He is more like a crazed Davie. Remember how Davie would win and then get his doors blown out and your like “huh”? He is a crazed BD with a 70% win percentage at ND losing on avg 4 games per year on a 13 game schedule. That is what you’re fawning over. Just not what I’m supporting but I respect your opinion. I wouldn’t want him back

I'll repeat my usual about BK: I like how he restored ND, continue to wish him the best...and hope he can evolve to be a better overall coach, as he still cannot win big games consistently. Even with all the resources available, more so than what he had at ND.

We can never know for sure the personal dynamics. But I sense BK lacks that inspirational charisma producing a whole > sum of the parts. And he doesn't get it right with game day play calling. He's gotten better in philosophy, a more balance O rather than pass happy gimmick stuff. But still not that top level elite coach who can win a NC.

If I were LSU, I'd give him 5 seasons. Even with great resources, well, see TAMU, FSU, USC, Florida, Tennessee. It isn't easy.

Yes, we know...thank you for reminding us, again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again...that way, we won't forget
He has said the same thing 5 dozen times the last 45 days …and yet he gives grief to other posters for being repetitive

His lack of self awareness is off the charts (but typical for a SoCal lib)

“Inspirational charisma”? Seriously, have you seen or heard Kelly during some of his halftime speeches at ND. I was blown away the first time by how poorly he is at this, especially for someone so glib. He has a cerebral approach to the game and has a great career to show for it, absent much inspirational charisma. Not someone who can inspire others to run through walls, and maybe that’s what is missing for big games.

Refer to Brian Kelly in any way you wish. End of the day, he’s paid in the top 10 of his chosen profession. And will be…

There is no fringe, I'm the only one. And yes, I gather that you wouldn't want him back. That goes without saying.

I don't get it. Does that somehow diminish LSU? Is that like, an unmistakable slap in the face?

I guess Tulane are the new kings of the bayou state. Shed a tear for poor BK....
It’s funny because it’s the Tulane football office taking a jab at LSU and calling themselves king, like you said.

I got that from Tiger Droppings. My favorite comments were “they beat USC” and “they will always have more SEC championships than Kelly” lol.

They’re light hearted over there. Good people.

I see... So that is what it is. I just didn't see the LSU logo anywhere. Maybe I missed it. If Tulane could somehow squeak into the playoff, they really would have bragging rights.

BK projects an overseer who sucks up all the oxygen in the room....any room. There isn't a connection to his players that is necessary. Even Saban had that connection, though it was quite authoritarian....He was respected because he could back it up. Not Kelly. He self-identifies as an elite coach...and has sold that persona very well. But in crunch time.....Kelly is a paper tiger. No pun intended.

Hard to see them firing him this year. One more year at least. I hope these costs don’t get put on the students.

I might have to do a little research project on LSU podcasts. I was listening to a post-Florida game podcast and an ND fan (hahaha) was saying, “come on, plenty of talent at LSU”. The two podcasters were quick to dismissively say, “no there isn’t.”

I wonder what they guys were saying when LSU was 6-1 or in the preseason. LSU climbed to #8 prior to the A&M loss. So I guess if they “don’t have talent”, then the whole SEC is overrated. They had enough talent to beat South Carolina and Mississippi though… They obviously had enough talent to beat a ‘lowly’ 5-5 Big Ten team in USC but lost.

ND would sure love to have the athleticism of their top two receivers — Lacy and #1 —from what I’ve seen.

Really though, it’s just football. You have to find a way to get your guys to execute to the best of their ability. LSU isn’t getting it done.

I don't have anything against Brian Kelly except that he thought he had a better chance of winning at LSU than at ND with a rather rude move to the Bayou. Because of the way he handled it, we ended up Freeman which was the best thing that could have come out of BK's move. I will take Freeman over Kelly any time. The coaches that many though would be better than Freeman are not doing that well either.

Just looking at some numbers - since 1998, SEC teams have won 58% of their games with the ACC with Georgia, LSU and Alabama leading at 80%. The remaining 12 teams have only won 49%. Against the BIG, SEC teams have won 60% of their games together since 1998. The last two years until now, the SEC has won 10 games and the ACC 9.

Yet, despite all of these shortcomings, Brian Kelly is the longest tenured head coach in the history of Notre Dame Football, including Lou Holtz and Ara.

Go figure.

Ara could've coached at ND until he passed! He retired cause' the stress was killing him! Lou was shown the door cause' he had become as big as the school w/ power and that wasn't going to last. There is no comparable situation between Lou and BK. If Lou did what he did in the same years as BK coached at ND, he would also be the coach until he decided he was done! It's not any great accomplishment what BK achieved, at all! He was a good coach and nothing more and that doesn't get you NC's at ND or the luxury to stay at LSU losing 3/4 games a year! GOOD COACH PERIOD!...GREAT COACH NO!! ELITE COACH ARE YOU ****ING CRAZY???

You need to finish that sentence with "without a major bowl win, playoff win, and national championship"

Kelly strutted around like a peacock when he arrived at LSU.....doing a cringeworthy hustle dance with his quarterback recruit (Walker Howard who is now at Ole Miss)....along with the Hillary style fake accent. All the while, Kelly made a point to take unnecessary jabs at Notre Dame.....making sure others noticed. Its that last part that I take exception to. He's a prick who is proud of it. I don't care how much money he makes....that's LSU's problem (and I am sure they are thinking about it). Kelly is likely already drafting the explanation for his shortcomings for the press after he's fired. You can rest assured those shortcomings will belong to others, not Brian Kelly.

He's actually drafting the explanation for his shortcomings to the powers that be at LSU to save his job. I'm sure he'll be throwing his players and assistants under the bus, and telling them he needs a couple of more years to get his "RKG's" in the program. We all know his M.O. we've seen it for 12 years. The only difference, BK won't have the luxury of a weak schedule that he had at ND the last 4 years of his tenure.

He didn't do any of those things. All you're doing with these posts is making yourself look more and more like a pathological hater, which you obviously are, and saying nothing about BK. It's not subtle in the slightest, and you're patently desperate to watch him burn. On the one hand, you have BK, super successful CFB coach, just got a huge contract in the SEC, on account of how great he did at ND. And on the other hand there's you, and virtually all of the rest of visible ND fanbase, acting like, I don't even know how to describe it anymore. How much of it is your own sickness, or whatever, just the mob that you're a part of, and that you don't dare defy. Everybody says we're a 'tribal' species, and I don't really agree with that, but maybe this unaccountable explosion of loathing for BK is an exquisite manifestation that proves the rule or something.

Just ask yourself this, what if you had occasion to meet BK, and sit next to him on a plane for six hours or something. What would you do with yourself? Would you lose your composure, would you be able to handle the situation? For someone like you, obviously you would play it cool, and just be extremely self-conscious the whole time. Or at least attempt to. What if you couldn't handle it? And they had to call the air marshals and land the plane and get you off? You'd probably hate him even more. I literally have to speak to you as if I'm Jesus or something. And give you some trite little moral homily, that's how off the rails you are. Turn the other cheek. Don't bear false witness. Love your neighbor as you would yourself. And you're a ND fan.....
