I think it's fair to say mostly everyone is tired of Patty. He's extremely annoying and doesn't contribute at all to the board
Like the rest of us, that is a matter of opinion

Recently, I went through a rigorous treatment for cancer, for which I am still in weekly treatment, During that time many on the board were encouragers. The attitude Of my fellow forum members was heart felt; I am very grateful. If a poster needs some special consideration and I can help, then fine. Capice?

I’ve been truly blessed, i’ve been very fortunate, I’ve led and continue to lead a wonderful life.

I didn’t brag, I just responded to 3daughters when he declared that his doctors were better than my doctors, all I did was name three of the physicians who treated me and then I asked
3daughters to name the physicians who treated him.
But the uninformed and cowardly 3daughters failed to name his physicians.
It was 3daughters who was bragging about having better doctors, not me !

Go back and reread the thread and you’ll see that they were the ones who started the derailment and personalization.

Leonard yes, Minchey though? First he has to beat out Angeli. He's had over 12 months and he's not even closing the gap.
Agree. It's only the #1 hospital in the world. I drove both my parents there for knee replacements, shoulder, and hip replacements. All the surgeries went off without issue and the recovery was amazingly fast less than 3 months. Compare that to some of my parents neighbors who went to the local orthopedic, and 6 months later they still aren't right.
I asked my mother's surgeon at HSS why we should come here instead of an orthopedic in NJ. His response was, I do 5 of these surgeries every day, the local orthopedic does maybe 5 per month. I'd rather go where they do these surgeries consistently on a daily basis vs sporadically over time.
I take it we won’t see him in the spring game? If not I probably won’t make the drive. It was going to be tough to make and if our starting qb can’t play I won’t likely justify the travel. Anyone know if he’s for sure not playing?
From what I’ve heard he looks much more talented than Angeli. Nobody is closing the gap on the older guys without an opportunity to do so in live action.
Odds are low Leonard stays healthy all season. That’s just the way I see it and I can’t be convinced otherwise. He’s made to run and get hit and he clearly has a chronic injury. Whether that can be 100% fixed idk. Even if it does, he’s going to get smacked a lot. Angeli is likely going to start some games. If he can’t hack it, we will see Minchey.
I have not heard anyone praise Angeli as a program changer, not even his fan girl club. If we want a title we need Leonard healthy. If we want 10 wins and a likely playoff loss then Angeli will do. It depends on expectations. We have fans that are good with 10-2 and some that want a little more. If you like Angeli over Leonard, you’re the former. You just need to admit that you’re a 10-2 guy. How do we know Angeli isn’t that guy? Well, ask yourself if he’s a major threat with his legs or offers a first round pick cannon arm. The answer is no from every single person that has ever publicly evaluated him. Leonard posses the legs.
I could see Leonard/Angeli in a somewhat similar, but in other ways, different Golson and Rees duo. Leonard is a more experienced superior mental athlete than Golson, but it’s a somewhat similar scenario. The more talented guy gets hurt and the other guy comes in and takes care of business by leading the offense. Leonard offers the support on the sidelines and returns upon good health. They both need to be healthy and do their part for the team . Just get to 12 wins whatever it takes.

I’m very surprised that Riley or Riley’s agent didn’t opt for HSS, as I’m sure that their vision extends beyond the coming season
How do you know what their thoughts are, have you had direct conversations with Riley and his agent ?
I know that any parents that care about their kid will do their due diligence and do what is best for him or her. If they weren't comfortable they wouldn't let him get operated on

I’m sure that Brian Ratigan is a skilled physician/surgeon, but getting second opinions from the best specialists is always a good strategy, especially in medicine.
