Riley Leonard looking really good so far. It’s been talked about a bit, but that injury he dealt
With over the spring and summer likely had a significant impact on him at the start of the season. I can’t recall a Notre Dame QB improving as much as he did throughout the season.

I honestly would have welcomed back Leonard if he had the opportunity to come back. I initially didn’t think he’d carve out a role in the NFL, but with his athleticism and continued improvement in the passing game, I definitely see him sticking for 4-5 years, maybe longer. He’s obviously got a lot of the stuff front offices covet in terms of the mental aspect and with elite coaching, I think he could reach his ceiling, which I think is a slightly lesser athlete than Kap but a slightly better passer.

You guys think he gets drafted? And if so, what round? I’m thinking someone takes a flier on him between rounds 4-7.

He'll probably get drafted just on the strength of this playoff run, and ND finally proving themselves worthy. He's not a good passer, obviously, but he does make good throws from time to time. It's too difficult to say from his play at ND whether he possesses the raw passing potential to be worth the gamble to an NFL team to try and develop him, because you like his other traits, his size and speed and running ability. But no harm in spending a 6th rounder or so on him. He's definitely worth a flier.

I'll go as far as to say, as an addendum, we just don't know about his passing ability to judge one way or another. He made plenty of nice throws over the course of this season. And he was consistently effective with the dink and dunk stuff. It appears as if the coaches made the decision to keep him on a short leash, and we don't need him to be Payton Manning, and we'll win with defense and the run game. So who knows? He certainly made enough good throws to raise your eyebrows, even with his reputation as a shaky passer, or at least a work in progress.

I would take a flyer on him for sure. Physically he has the tools and see if a year or two of development can turn him into a NFL QB.

Looked better then the other quarterbacks still has pro day but after this I see day 3 for sure.

I was watching the senior bowl practices. His accuracy needs to improve, he was very inaccurate on longer throws. According to this Mock draft he's a 6th rounder
You are a hater. I get it because you are Angel's mom so that is ok. 😂

It appears Leonard received very positive feedback for his time in Mobile. Probably made himself some money.

With a weak qb class I could see Riley going in late 3rd or early 4th. Some team will look at his size and leadership qualities and take a flyer.

I'm not a hater, I'm a realist. i don't wear rose colored glasses. He's not accurate beyond 10-15 yards. There's a reason he's a 6th-7h round pick. He's certainly not 1st round NFL talent as some had claimed.

I already posted that. I know it's difficult for you but try to keep up. Give it the old college try !!
I was reemphasizing the fact that he’s eligible to get a Super Bowl ring

Why did you find the need to diminish his status as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles
