that we have gone coast to.coast in a week. That's heavy duty travel....multiple time zones...for the last week of the year. I hope we aren't sluggish... imo poor scheduling.....

I don't think it's that big of a deal. We play our last game of the season in California almost every year. Typcially, that follows the last home game. South Bend is in the eastern time zone, so there is a three hour time change for the last game virtually every year.

You can thank SC for that

We were in Boston on saturday. That is a bit of a coast to coast ping pong job....

The young men should not have a problem handling it. I'm guessing that returned to South Bend from Boston on Sunday. It should not be bothering them a week later.

Hope so.....

I dunno, cgvr. If it takes these kids, who go through all this strength and conditioning, a week to recover from a trip to Boston, there is something wrong.

I looked back at the last 35 years and we did coast to coast twice. 2000 and 2010.... rutgers/southern cal. Army/southern cal. 4 ND Ws..... I hope we can keep that record going.

We may have done coast to coast only twice, but we have done eastern time zone to pacific time zone almost every year.

You are a chick chick chicken !

Not as was set up to be.

ND was to end the season playing SC at the end of the season regardless who was the host.

ND didn't start playing Stanford at the end of the season till 1999 in Palo Alto

I believe BK did something different this week for this game. I could be wrong since I never paid much attention to it in the past but this year they traveled on Thanksgiving. That will give the team Thursday night to settle in, Friday to get acclimated, and the game is Saturday evening (4:30 p.m. PST). I don't see the time change being a problem for them.
