Now that is funny and a clear indication of how uninformed and how ignorant you are.You are soft
I’m sorry at your age it’s difficult to follow the conversation. The OP clearly was aggravated about arriving home on Sunday morning, and it’s impact on the next game or two this season. It would appear that your reading comprehension skills continue to be absent because the OP never mentioned or predicted playing TS the following week in his opening post.
Scheduling TS is a separate issue from the travel issue.
Traveling great distances is always problematic, whether it’s to L.A. or Ireland.
There are reasons why NFL teams don’t like playing in Europe.
If you’re from the East coast and you’ve traveled to L.A and you’ve engaged in an athletic competition, which I doubt, you’d know that there are challenges created by traveling distances, especially distances involving multiple time zone changes.
So continue laughing at yourself.
as I get older, and in failing health, I am more regretful of the harsh, nasty comments and attacks I may have made over the years. I wish I had considered this a long time ago.Awesome, team will get home about 6 or 7am Sunday morning. He really doesn't care.
Not true, the OP never mentioned the next game in his opening post.I’m sorry at your age it’s difficult to follow the conversation. The OP clearly was aggravated about arriving home on Sunday morning, and it’s impact on the next game or two this season.
I’ve read your monotonous comments about traveling distances. That is such an intelligent assertion, that traveling over time zones will produce fatigue more than not. How would we have never figured that out!?
Also, you sure like to make assumptions for a guy that always demands, but never produces, evidence.
Also told you I have the itinerary, and also shared my extensive travels . I just don’t name drop like you prefer.
Thx Captain Obvious
What about the counter-attacks, do you regret defending yourself ?as I get older, and in failing health, I am more regretful of the harsh, nasty comments and attacks I may have made over the years. I wish I had considered this a long time ago.
Simple question for you:I’m sorry at your age it’s difficult to follow the conversation. The OP clearly was aggravated about arriving home on Sunday morning, and it’s impact on the next game or two this season.

You still struggle to stay up to speed. I didn’t say the Original Poster stated such in his original post. But he clearly inferred such and he did state in his following post(s).Not true, the OP never mentioned the next game in his opening post.
I never made any assumptions as you erroneously state.
My sources are at the epicenter of the travel issue, one of which I had lunch with today.
What are your sources ?
Simple answer. Yes. For 18-22 yr olds, not so much.Simple question for you:
Does traveling to Europe, playing a game on a Saturday/Sunday, then flying back to the U.S. to play a game on the following Saturday/Sunday have a negative impact on a player’s/team’s performance, including the potential for additional injuries ?
YES or NO ?
You’re wrong, ”Get Nasty” NEVER mentioned Tennessee State in his second post or any subsequent post. You still struggle to stay up to speed. I didn’t say the Original Poster stated such in his original post. But he clearly inferred such and he did state in his following post(s).
You make assumptions and allegations in most every post. So Pat Mucci, your arrogance is only outweighed by your lack of awareness.
Knew you couldn’t go that long without starting to name drop. How about you REVEAL YOUR LUNCH SOURCE, we know you so want to! My source is the football staff.
Haha. Ole Patti…you need to do more crossword puzzles. I know it requires some thinking on your part, but the 4th post absolutely tries to compare the hangover from last years OSU game to the Marshall game….and what he was doing here in this thread. Maybe do some more knitting? You’re wrong, ”Get Nasty” NEVER mentioned Tennessee State in his second post or any subsequent post.
Maybe you weren't aware of that.
It‘s not “name dropping” its citing a reliable, if not irrefutable sources.
My sources are the owners of NFL teams, one of which had lunch with me today.
So who do you think has more experience with their team playing in Europe, your “football staff” who have never played in Europe, or my source who has ?
What‘s the “not so much” degree of distinction between 18-22 year olds and 22-30 year olds.Simple answer. Yes. For 18-22 yr olds, not so much.
Should it risk a loss to Tenn State? Absolutely not.
You should ask them about their schedule before you open your trapWhat‘s the “not so much” degree of distinction between 18-22 year olds and 22-30 year olds.
22-30 year olds who don’t have to attend class who spend the entire day conditioning and practicing, 22-30 year olds who are exponentially better athletes in better condition than your 18-22 year olds ?
NFL players are far superior to college football players, and as such they’re better able to adapt to and withstand the rigors of international travel
I never stated that ND would lose to TS
The fellow at lunch, an NFL owner, happens to be a personal friend of mine.Haha. Ole Patti…you need to do more crossword puzzles. I know it requires some thinking on your part, but the 4th post absolutely tries to compare the hangover from last years OSU game to the Marshall game….and what he was doing here in this thread. Maybe do some more knitting?
So it’s an NFL owner today! Yay!
I guess Marcus or Al or Gerad or the other coaches have only driven to their away games in their careers. Lol
I should have known better to engage an obtuse poster like yourself. You drag me to your level and clog the board with your extensive experience in such.
Have a good weekend if you are able to keep dry
Ask whom ?You should ask them about their schedule before you open your trap
The same was said after travel issues back from Columbus…. Tenn state is worse than Marshall and we definitely shouldn’t lose, it’s just stupidSimple answer. Yes. For 18-22 yr olds, not so much.
Should it risk a loss to Tenn State? Absolutely not.
Just for the record, Bama beat ND in 86 28-10. The game was played in Birmingham at Legion Field where the TIde played at least 3 games a year until 1999.Once in 40 years, and Notre Dame beat Alabama 37-6, whereas Airzee23 claimed that Alabama beat ND. Try to have someone with reading comprehension skills explain that to you
I never heard that. That’s ridiculous. The same was said after travel issues back from Columbus…. Tenn state is worse than Marshall and we definitely shouldn’t lose, it’s just stupid
Everyone or almost everyone stated travel issues were of no concern and we’d blow out Marshall.I never heard that. That’s ridiculous.
If travel isn’t an issue, why do home teams have an inherent advantage, one that Vegas incorporates into the point spread ?Everyone or almost everyone stated travel issues were of no concern and we’d blow out Marshall.
Fans, stadium/field familiarity, etc as well.If travel isn’t an issue, why do home teams have an inherent advantage, one that Vegas incorporates into the point spread ?
Lies.Everyone or almost everyone stated travel issues were of no concern and we’d blow out Marshall.
It’s generally not the fans and more due to the fact that the home team’s routine is NOT disturbed.Fans, stadium/field familiarity, etc as well.
Prove me wrong. Freeman said on his Monday presser after OSU the team would be ready for marshall, posters stated kids were young and wouldn't the issues wouldn't impact them.Lies.
Garbage poster.
Maybe ND fans, but you play at a stadium that has a full stadium engaged and not selling out it's impactful in big games. It’s generally not the fans and more due to the fact that the home team’s routine is NOT disturbed.
For the home team it’s SOP
It's a PC moron, it's coach speak.Prove me wrong. Freeman said on his Monday presser after OSU the team would be ready for marshall, posters stated kids were young and wouldn't the issues wouldn't impact them.
After the season was over freeman said he reflected and talked about how much of an impact their travel issues he thinks actually had.
So who is the one not being honest? Not one poster here didn't think we'd blow out marshall including me.
What type of speak is this you are doing? No, I have not seen your baseball. lolIt's a PC moron, it's coach speak.
Get a fuc.... life.
Try golf. What type of speak is this you are doing? No, I have not seen your baseball. lol
So in your opinion was the travel delays an issue in our performance last year or not? Was freeman doing coach speak right after osu or when he reflected after the season?
I'm good at that. I took it up very seriously after my playing career finished at the age of 24 many years ago.Try golf.
It's called a letdown game. It happens to teams all the time where travel has nothing to do with it.Prove me wrong. Freeman said on his Monday presser after OSU the team would be ready for marshall, posters stated kids were young and wouldn't the issues wouldn't impact them.
After the season was over freeman said he reflected and talked about how much of an impact their travel issues he thinks actually had.

If you are Notre Dame, do not lose to Marshall and Stanford at home. Especially in the same season. It's called a letdown game. It happens to teams all the time where travel has nothing to do with it.
Freeman made the ohio game the super bowl. We played hard and with a ton of emotion. The players from their pressers seemed deflated and had nothing in the tank after. They put everything into that game. They just weren't mentally prepared to play Marshall. Thats on the coaches and the players. They all did a poor job.
Also, Marshall was better than expected. So it was a double whammy. Come out extremely flat and the team across was better than expected.
Upset. Happens a lot in sports. Have to learn from that experience. Travel has nothing to do with it
I’m sorry. But you had a playing career? Doing what?I'm good at that. I took it up very seriously after my playing career finished at the age of 24 many years ago.
LMFAO.I’m sorry. But you had a playing career? Doing what?
No kidding. We've had much worse seasons thoughIf you are Notre Dame, do not lose to Marshall and Stanford at home. Especially in the same season.
And I agree, travel had nothing to do with it.
Didn’t quite make it to the big leagueI’m sorry. But you had a playing career? Doing what?
