Well we were making a run until Sat. The fact we were actually making a run this late after a 4 win season last year is impressive. Big improvement and hopefully the coaches make adjustments in the off season.
I don't see it.
The strength of ND's offense this season has been the running game - next season they will be without Adams (likely) and McGlinchey and Nelson.
Without a much better passing game, moving the ball could become a major challenge.
I definitely see it. We have several very capable RB's in the wings, half of the Oline will be back with some very solid players in the wings (no question losing MM and QN is big), we are loaded with young players, have a very solid Redshirt class + recruiting class in place, and our Coordinators will have a year behind them. Plus our 2018 schedule is not as daunting as this year's.

How is next year easier? We play this game every year after we lose (get blown out) the big prime-time game...Our strength is running the football against less talented teams, that will not be the case next year and will have to rely on BW arm which is scary. Michigan is going to come back strong next year right out the gate...And you think FSU is going to have another year like this?

So many factors-----development of players , injuries , who stays .
As to FSU--------too much talent there to repeat this season but I love the game is in November in SB.

It doesn't matter who we play next year, we're due for another disappointing season on the every-other-year-kelly-meter.
The next three games will tell you how next year will be. The defenses will be stacking the lines forcing BW to throw. The prep for the bowl game will show if the new coaches can make adjustments. We know Kelly cant based on his history.
Virginia Tech will be a nationally televised night game at their place...let's see how easy that game is. It's not hard to see another 3-4 losses next year as well.
