Fisher Declares for Draft

Talent has zero to do with it. Carmody was also a big basketball player with a high metabolism...just like Wagner. How strong you are doesn't matter when getting bull rushed and undersized.

The weight is a bigger issue than you think.

As far as injuries... Yeah. That comes with taking a beating while undersized.

Wagner might be great...he also might not be able to hold up. You guys are anointing a guy that has massive development needs from a body perspective.

I think the kid has great tools, but ideally he's a year away, maybe two. Being forced to play could seriously impact his long term development.

He'll be ready by next fall. Natural strength does matter when you are getting bull rushed, that was wrong by you. Wagner been undersized since he got to campus and hasn't had any injuries. Carmody did.

He's going into year 3. If you think he needs another 2 years to be ready you are nuts. He would be a 5th year by then.

His weight is an issue. You're also making it more than it is. He doesn't need to put on another 30 pounds. He needs to put on about 10 to 15 more pounds of good weight. Very doable

"Talent has 0 to do with it."

Not reading anything after that. I am going to start avoiding pointless discussions that go nowhere. I don't know what you could possibly mean by that. I don't care what you could possibly mean by that. I see this as a complete waste of time and energy to discuss it further.

Edit: You are trying to say that Carmody and Wagner are similar players and that because Carmody didn't work out, we should expect for Wagner to not work out. Still didn't read what you said after the statement that talent has 0 to do with it. Higher floor and higher ceiling. That's why I am expecting Wagner to become a great player where Carmody didn't. I said nothing about talent. Floor and ceiling encompasses the entire potential of a player.
