Game Ball goes to...

Freeman.
This team did everything to give this game away but he held the course. The 2 running backs were studs. Leonard is like Rocky; he keeps getting beat up but keeps coming. The D bended but did not break.
Other than the two Riley Leonard interceptions, I don't think ND did anything to give the game away. Penn State was hellbent on taking it in the first half. They simply dominated on both sides of the line of scrimmage. ND simply snapped out of it at halftime and played a completely different game.

I agree with Aneyas Williams that was mentioned, previously - he is a Dawg! I don't know if it was mentioned, but Jaylen Sneed played a great game, especially when he was the one to apply pressure to the Penn State quarterback on the Christian Gray interception.

- The Steve Angeli fumble recovery by Notre Dame's offensive lineman - I believe it was Billy Schrauth. That was one of the not often mentioned, but biggest plays of the season.

I just love this team - resiliency is an understatement when describing this team.

Notre Dame Nation: I am on cloud nine. Call me crazy, but I recall our last football championship. The last time that we won the championship was with a running quarterback by the name of Tony Rice. We have another running quarterback = Riley Leonard.

America: So, you say we have a chance???

Go Irish!!!

I predicted a 27-13 win for ND. Came pretty darn close to my prediction considering RL picks accounted for 10 points. RL doesn't throw the picks, I got a feeling my prediction may have come true. Oh well.

I gotta go with Steve Angeli. When RL left the game....he became the leader on offense. That quick. Getting on the score board after being manhandled by PSU for most of the first half set the stage for half time adjustments and a second wind coming out in the second half. It was consequential.

Oh it's Freeman for sure. Can you imagine BK on the sidelines after two ints even with the exact same playbook?
Uhh, total disaster and collapse and futility and we lose by 80. That's guaranteed what would have happened. MF definitely gets the game ball, in fact he should be like, emperor or something. And then we could all follow him into battle.

To be fair, I cannot imagine BK in that position because he would have needed to win consecutive playoff games before seeing his reaction in the semifinal.

I usually don't pick on Kelly but you've been especially annoying lately.
Don't apologize. Sometimes you gots to represent! And thank you for all your previous restraint and discretion. Which did go unnoticed, but that's because you weren't loudly bagging on BK all the time, so I didn't even notice. And I must add, I like the way you put it, you don't 'pick on' him. That's actually a funny thought, a bunch of ND fans actually picking on BK. Like that would ever happen. But we know what you mean by that.

Yes, his face would be red while yelling at the refs, then blaming them afterwards for the loss. He was a professional at blaming everyone but himself.

Awesome, it's about time this thread turned into another BK bash fest. I know I taunt you guys and egg you on, but typically the game ball doesn't go to the head coach. He's the one awarding it! But this time it goes to MF himself. I don't think ND's ever won a game when we were down at halftime. So it's well earned.

And your contribution was a doozie. That was a good one. Good old purple face. Blame-shifting purple face.

The constant Kelly bashing is stupid. The guy has been gone for 3 years. On days where we don't have games, you come here to bash Kelly!?! Get a life.

Men, talking shit anonymously on the internet, about another man, who they've never met. Soft.
