Do those silly Democratic Senators realize how STUPID their ultra-partisan questions sound to honest Americans?? I doubt it. TRUMP will ignore them and move ahead. No time to waste on stupid people. His nominees are all CLASS.
Looking forward to a fresh start in American politics. I'm not especially bias one way or another. I'd be fairly centered, leaning a little bit right, in the American political spectrum, but I do think it's time for a change and I look forward to seeing what Trump can get done with a majority in the areas that matter...
America has a lot of problems right now. Most of them aren't on Obama, but in 8 years he wasn't able to solve or curtail many of them either. Maybe a Trump led government will have better luck.
Would love to see y'all get the obesity epidemic that is stressing your health care system out, the very mass real mass shooting problem in your country, immigration (legal and otherwise), NAFTA, your crumbling education system, the loss of quality jobs, for the creation of BS minimum wage jobs (race to the bottom), the ludicrous cost of higher education etc, etc, under control.
The United States is a place near and dear to this foreigners heart and I'm hoping to see some energy back in your country and some positivity as well... And I mean it when I say that I hope that it extends down through your middle class, because those folks need a darn break.

I look forward to a presidency that promotes job growth and reworks that bad affordable care act aka Obama Care. That was the only thing the president did during his 8 years. I had rates for me of aprox 750 a month for me times that by 2 for my wife and then it went up to over 900 a month times 2. My mortgage was not that month. we could not afford it. To add insult to it the deductible options were 10k and there was an option for 15k. the problem with obamacare was price offer and although more people were covered only people that could not afford it were covered meaning more people went on medicaid. people struggling to get by did not have coverage. The liberals on this site do not get this.
They may have class but most are woefully unqualified for the positions they have been nominated for.
It's criminal how much you guys pay. That's ridiculous. As for the promotion of job growth, that would be awesome. As long as they aren't shitty jobs, that keep everyone working them at or below the poverty line so that a couple people at the top of the corportation get rich on the back of their employees. I'm for people making as much money as I can, don't get me wrong, but I'm also for employing your fellow countrymen and women with quality jobs that can pay their bills. I hope Mr. Trump and his team bring tons of work back to North America, in the form of quality jobs. The unemployment rate is a ridiculous measure of the nation's prosperity if everyone is hovering around broke.
That said, North American consumers need to stop living and buying well out of their financial setting, simply because tjey feel entitled to anything money can buy. It's a two way street.
IIO I would say my biggest disappointment in president Obama is that he appeared not to negotiate with republicans. Even Obamacare had a super majority of Democrats to pass it. Also this set a bad tone in washington. traditionally to get something passed you include the other side. you never get 100% of what you want. this attitude was pervasive when he would just use executive privilege to do things instead of trying to negotiate . To me he may have been popular in some ways but unsuccessful as a president.
I think the checks and balances in America are extreme and often stop you guys from getting what's needed done because the two sides of the political spectrum often disagree so drastically and there appears to be so much spite between the two sides that they will derail any substantial change, meaning in 8 years it can be hard for a President to accomplish any of what they set out to do.
That said, on this issue, you and I agree. Rebuplicans got jobbed when Obama forced through healthcare and ignored Congress... BS if you ask me and Trey Gowdy was 100 percent justified in his rant... That said, ignorning Congress is no worse than lying to Congress, which is exactly what the Bush Government did in convincing Congress to invade Iraq, which led to the Military and Oil industries (his buddies) in the US getting uber rich, while putting a billion dollar a day war on the backs of American taxpayers to pay off for generations.
What Obama did was complete nonsense, but lets not act like other US Presidents haven't done similarly devious things recently.
Ironically, Repuclicans want Hillary Clinton crucified for what has happened with her recently, the same way Democrats were asking for the Bush regime to be investigated over Iraq... Both were crooked as hell. Corruption knows no political boundary.

just a comment regarding the 'medicare' statement above. What people fail to understand is medicare is technically not insurance; under the OC it is technically a 'loan'; medicare can come back to you for recover of funds paid for medical expenses, at such time as your income or assets are sufficient. That is not insurance. That is why in the 'Market Place' of OC you definitely want to avoid being w/o enough income to escape the 'poverty level'. If you fall in the poverty level you are automatically sent to medicare.
If things are fixed it will undeniably take care of other things.

He needs to take all about "Me" and park it for he next 4 to 8 years..
His message is a good one, he could be the best thing to happen to America in a long time if he gets out of his own way.
Bringing the jobs back to the US, controlling the boarder are strong concerns with the majority of America. He has the brass to deal with the issues, but will he have the class to bring his message to all Americans

I don't think he can "dial it back." Many of the dems up for Re election are in states that Trump won. He won't win every battle but don't underestimate him.
Yes, and the good folks who wrote the Constitution wanted it difficult to move forward on policies. They valued liberty over equality; checks on power rather than easily exercised power. No socialism here, thank you very much.
