ND will beat osu because ND will stop the run and ND will be able to run.

Well if you watched the game you would know why that score happened. The game should have been 31-7 but who cares, still dominated. The defense gave up like 150 yards that game on 2 drives and completely shut them down the rest of the way.
So, all you watched was the last two minutes of the ND/IU game. BTW, I've watched all the games so far and I'm looking forward to watching Monday night.

You are showing a screen shot of a pre snap read. Where did those players go once the ball was snapped? That defender playing the slot did not follow the WR.

It's game day, I guess we will find out just how "average" Howard is.

Yeah, I guess we will. You think there's any chance he'll sit out this game, and then we don't get to find out? And Devin Brown will step in, and become a folk hero for the bucknuts nation, and he'll pull his name from the transfer portal and be drenched in glory.

Which he should do anyway, he's gotta be better than Julian Sayin, please tell me you're not putting the program's future on the shoulders of that little boy, he looks like a skateboarder or something. You let Kyle McCord go, you turned your back on him, and he's like a superstar now at Syracuse, better than Will Howard. You appear to have given up on Devin Brown, who was also a super elite recruit like McCord, and just kind of overall similar. And you had a couple other guys transfer, right? And you had all these rugged, capable QBs on your roster, and then in addition to Will Howard who was the big, splashy QB transfer which seemed like much of a muchness and not any better than McCord. Similar in traits, but not any better, and that's who you ended up with. And then you also were planning for the future, and brought in this 12 year old boy with a effed-up last name, from the Bama fire sale, the exodus that ensued when Saban hung up dem boots! Along with Caleb Downs of course.

And that's tOSU's future. You thought you would have learned from Tate Martell. Nope! So old boy better win it all this year. Especially Michigan now has the great Bryce Underwood. And tOSU will have pipsqueak Julian Sayin as his opposite number in the most hotly contested CFB rivalry of them all.

McCord is at home and Howard is in Atlanta, OSU is fine. Sayin, Keinholz and St. Claire the #1 player in Rivals 250 will all have their chance to prove they should be the starter and throw the ball to four 5 star WR next year!

F, I forgot you guys have St. Clair. That's the rivalry right there. He might even be better than Underwood. Julian Sayin will end up starting, if he's lucky, at like San Jose St. or something.

And don't give me none of this McCord is at home, what kind of an answer is that? Oh, you mean because Syracuse didn't make the national championship game? Your coach panicked, which I can believe, he lost faith in McCord for no particularly good reason, so he availed himself of the transfer portal and brought in Will Howard who was really not even any different of a player, and who's done well to be fair, even though he blew the Oregon game with his bungling in the waning seconds, and was crap in your big rivalry game. And you spent apparently like, 20 million dollars on your combined salary this year, still lost to Michigan and had to kind of squeak into the playoff, and I figured you guys would get Cam Ward, or some flashy passing QB and you would have cruised the season undefeated which I'm sure was the plan.

So that's why ND feels like they have a chance. Because your QB Fs up in big games, or in crucial moments. He lays eggs or forgets to call timeout and the clock runs out. Other than that you guys are state of the art, the best team money can buy. And you're healthier than us, you're lucky ND is so injured.

McCord left because Day would not guarantee he would be the start the next year and it would be an open competition. If the kid did not want to stay and fight for his job, then that is on him.

McCord and his Dad wanted a guarantee from Day that he was going to be QB1 this year, and Day would not guarantee that, so McCord went in the Portal before their bowl game. He had a great year against horrible ACC defenses, congrats to him!

Howard did not lose the first game to Oregon, our defense did!

OSU paid it's draft eligible players to come back, I call that smart and they paid a few top portal players to fill holes, also smart. ND paid more $$$ to Riley than OSU paid for Howard, also smart!

Last time i checked Howard has led OSU to wins over Tenn, #1 Oregon and Texas and had great games in all three. I would call all three of those games "big games", wouldn't you?

Howard is playing for a NATTY and McCord is home, i think it's worked out quite well for both guys. OSU lost two games and if they win tonight, guess what, they're NC and in the end that's what you play for, correct?

Sayin was a late gift from Bama, if he called Marcus up and wanted to come to South Bend do you think Marcus would have said No to the top 1 or 2 QB in the country?

I wouldn't say no but Carr will be better than Sayin

Okay, man. Sounds good. I guess I just can't rattle you. You'd have done the exact same thing with McCord, your season would have been indistinguishable, or you would have maybe been 12-0 with a better passing QB for your offense, which I would definitely say McCord is, but it really doesn't matter now. All's well that ends well.

But Julian Sayin sucks. He's just like, what the hell's his name, like JT something, out of SoCal like six years ago, national top ten overall, #1 overall QB I believe, ended up transferring to like four schools and doing pretty much jack shit. Sayin would be fortunate to match that, and is well on his way down that path already. But you guys do have Tevis St. Clair, and that could be a total badass rivalry for the next three/four years, if your coach doesn't F it up with dubious personnel decisions when it comes to the QB position. Not a real football sounding name, but neither is Bryce Underwood. Anything is better than Julian Sayin. WTF kind of a name is that??

You lost me on why Sayin "is well on his way down that path"? Kid is a true Frosh that left Bama because Saban retired, not because he sucked or was never going to play. Sayin is no different than Carr, true freshman that have not played. If Sayin doesn't perform, he won't start, simple as that, same as Carr!

You can beat up Howard all you want, but i'm 100% happy with his year and the leadership he provided. Wins against Tenn, Oregon and Texas in the CFP, why should i have been happier with McCord? McCord threw 5 picks and zero TD's against a terrible Pitt team!

Yea I don't get his take either, McCord had a good season playing in the ACC. He was at best average to below average at tOSU last year, Howard has had a MUCH better season than McCord did last year. If McCord had it in him, he could have stayed and actually fought for his job.

Are you talking about JT Barrett? He didn't transfer, or are you talking about Tate Martell from Nevada? FYI, Tate was a 4 star on rivals and was a run first QB, nothing like what Sayin is. And you assumption with McCord is a real stretch, since he went to a completely different (horrible)league, has different play callers, different style of offense. Maybe McCord needed to be in the right system, maybe he got better, but to assume he would be better at Ohio State is just a guess. Either way, Ohio State is in the title game with out him, so I can assure you that no Buckeye misses him.

He sucks, is what I'm saying. Why the F do you care, you guys cast off QBs like it was nothing, even ones that are established starters, and this kid sucks and is never going to play for you anyway. I don't know why I give a F, he just annoys me. And his name is bullshit. And he plays for tOSU, so I'm taking the liberty to trash talk him.

Seriously, what's even the question? You guys got St. Clair, who's arguably better than the great Bryce Underwood IMO, 12 mil dollar man, and that's obviously your future at QB. I did totally forget about him at first. You should be fired up about that, that will be awesome for the rivalry, you're both rich programs, neither will transfer, and you could see them both as at least three year starters. Maybe even four if they make so much money in college they don't go to the NFL, at least not early entry. And that could be possible in the near future. Only way you could screw it up is if you actually started Julian Sayin next year, which is hard to visualize, and then St. Clair bolted.

And you're bagging on McCord like he's a traitor. Even though you guys forced him out. Not literally, he was welcome to stay on as a backup, but he saw the writing on the wall.

Did Sayin steal your Woman? Dude you need to chill on a Frosh that hasn't even played much, you say he sucks just because you don't like his name, WTF!

Let's get something straight, McCord was not run off, he just refused to compete for the job the following year, he thought he was entitled to the job!

OSU has Sayin right now on the team, St. Clair next year and the #1 QB in 2027 already committed in Brady Edmunds, i think they will be alright for a while!

No man, I'd have to look it up, and it would take like five seconds, but I'm not going to. He never played for tOSU, he played for USC first, and then UGA, I think maybe West Virginia, and ended up at Rice. Maybe there were even more schools than that. Everything about the dude was awful, he had a face like a drug addict, and I'm sure he was pretty good, but definitely not the top QB in the country. Have no idea how that happened, you could see it a mile away. And Julian Sayin is like a worse version of that. Only he looks like someone who might enter the priesthood, or whatever, something like that.

Sorry about Will Howard. He's pretty good, there's no denying it. But he's not as good as Kyle McCord, you guys pulled the rug out from under him, and ended up with somebody worse. Thankfully, it hasn't cost you the national championship that was very clearly what tOSU as a program was determined to win this season, spare no expense. It almost did, but you rallied, and here you guys are. So no harm done. I just figure Will Howard is due for another big blunder or two. And tonight's the night!

If Howard plays tonight like he did the last 3 games, ND is in trouble! McCord pulled his own Rug, not OSU!

I get it, you are wearing osu glasses. So exchanging post with you will be a waste of time. Make sure you come back after the game on Monday. Or better yet, come back at halftime.
Good game, Zorich. I told you Howard was playing very good ball and he proved that last night, is he a 1st, 2nd or 3rd rounder in the draft, very doubtful, but he's a very good college QB that fit in great with this OSU team. Congrats on a great season for the Irish and there's no doubt ND is in good hands with Marcus. Until we meet again!
