ND girls eke out a win 62-61 against Oregon State . Oregon State played a patient game slowing ND 's up tempo style . ND girls may have been rusty . 6'3" center B. Turner was in action ,but it may take a few games before she returns to form . The Achilles heel of the Irish still seems to be rebounding. Oregon State out rebounded Irish 46-33 .Thought that Turner's return would help in that department . There are a few teams that have tall front lines that will be real match up problems for ND down the schedule and at tournament time .

Offense doesn't seem to be as smooth as in years past.
Back when ND had Diggins, McBride, Achonwa their offense was so much fun to watch. This year's team just doesn't seem to be shooting on all cylinders and they seem to clog up their own lanes on offense and mess things up.

our irish could've played better but oregon st is for real. that'll be the best team our irish face the rest of the regular season because of there size inside combined with the way they shoot the three
McBride ,Diggins and company . The backdoors ,smooth offense. Routinely beat top 10 teams like Tennessee,Duke ,Maryland by 20-30 points .
This year 's team is good and they have been playing without their 2 tallest players Turner and Reimer for much of the season relying on 6'2 Westbeld playing out of position in the paint .Need some good tall recruits .
Must say that next year ,6'2" Erin Boley a top recruit is the real deal . She has moved up in the rankings from outside the top ten to # 5 .She is doing it all at Elizabethtown High School in Kentucky .Also Jackie Young 5'11 scorer from Indiana is the other 2016 recruit.
The recruiting of front court players is a problem . This year's freshmen players are all guards ,Marina Mabrey, Ali Patberg,Arike Ogunbowale and next year 5'11 Jackie Young and 6'2" Erin Boley .We definitely need get some quality height somewhere

Notre Dame girls open ACC with a win over Georgia Tech 85-76. Game was never in doubt ,but not the dominating performances of the past few years with Achonwa, Diggins, McBride , Lloyd .Still love Muffet's up tempo style and try never to miss seeing them on the TV . Rather watch the ND girls over the ND boys.
they should've won bigger with having a 22 pt lead in the third but tech has really good post players and they gave our irish fits in the fourth
