Agree other than they didn’t fake anything… they went for it in fourth down just with ST personnel… their kicker was in shotgun like a qb, there was no fg holder and long snapper was split out wide and caught td… they didn’t fake anything, just used different personnel to confuse nd… and Lewis got confused

We weren’t in fg block or fg safe, we were in a defensive coverage … freeman said it himself but he doesn’t want his D to look as bad as it did first half

Just like he handed off wr to safety for no reason for td later on … watts could have done better to but there was no reason to hand it off, no one infront of Lewis

That's on the st coach. 2 guys went to the outside wr and left the guy wide open.

They were on a weird formation with the punter taking the snap. Those situations are gone over during ST. Mason runs that meeting when that is done, not Golden. Mason will own that

Other than hart and someone replacing brown, this is the starting D most likely next year…. Frichan alarming

The NEW Irish defense played GREAT yesterday. They were not to blame for the two INT returns for TDS and the fake field goal TD for South Carolina.
If you take those 21 points away the Irish D gave up only 17 points against a team that scored 63 points against Tennessee a soon to be top 5 team.
I rest my case and the gavel has been dropped !

Yeah. That's a mistake. Not lack of coverage ability. 2 guys went to 1 player. Left a man free. They were confused. It wasn't lack of ability.
