Too big a stage for Freeman & Co

Maybe you need to make an immediate appointment with your eye doctor? It seems you just can't get past something.

To be fair, his post was during point where the observations and criticism applied. I expressed similar criticism and frustration. But we all were still supporting MF...just saying it might take time.

Some went beyond and wanted MF fired. That would have been a disaster and wrong. Thankfully MF proved to be better than the ok coach I thought he was...much much better.

The dice rolled high. So here we are, with the Irish on the cusp of greatness. I have confidence MF will have them as ready as can be...becoming one of the great ones.

4-4-3 is another poster that rears his ugly head on the forum when things go sideways to enable him spout his drivel. Notice, he's been rarely heard from during the winning streak. he's back now because he's probably hedging ND will lose to OSU

NOTHING WRONG WITH MY EYESIGHT.

Freeman IN FACT looked at the time EXACTLY as I described him.

But HE DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THAT NOW.

I was, SO FAR, AT LEAST, totally wrong about the guy and could NEVER have envisioned his current INSPIRATIONAL SIDELINE MANNER. In fact, I considered his hire one of the STUPIDEST things ND had ever done.

Looks, at the moment, like I missed on that one BY A MILE.

Let's hope that he KEEPS ON IN THIS DIRECTION. But three years does not constitute a FULL BODY OF WORK. So, he has to keep doing it. Chances are he will, but it's by no means, A LOCK.

Back in the early 60's, the Giants' Allie Sherman won the Eastern Conference in his first three years, but over the next five years NEVER AGAIN HAD A WINNING SEASON. OR - who could have predicted that Kelly would go from 4-8 to 54-9?

I'm not suggesting that something similar to what happened to Allie Sherman will happen to Freeman -- in fact it's probably HIGLY UNLIKELY -- but at the same time, ONE NEVER KNOWS.

Football is YEAR TO YEAR and GAME BY GAME.

Backpedaling at its best, with that well Freeman could still be a failure. You can't make this sh1t up

You're responding to a lunatic who left the paid Rivals board because the mods did not tolerate or even respond to his lunacy,

Do not bother.
Agree on 4-4-3, haven't bothered since I read 2-3 posts. Recommendation would be get rid of the caps & bold bs.
Getting there on chase & aliases.
The other 2 can be entertaining in a twisted way, imo

I like and follow his use of caps and boldface. It helps clarify and emphasize his key points. And he does invest time and thought into discussions, which I appreciate...from anybody.

Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with this poster. We're all on the same team, all rooting for the Fighting Irish.

It's annoying, imo, and I don't bother reading yours, especially when you mention soccer.
Everyone has their preferences. I can't stomach 4-4-3 posts.

There is no one on this board that loves to hear himself type more than 443, and he types A LOT, using big smart sounding words so he can show all of us that’s he’s a great writer. 🤮
The above poster is right too. He’s only here now cuz he thinks ND will lose so he can pound his chest about how right he was. As arrogant as they come. If ND wins, CRICKETS.

You guys are a tough audience.

:)

I prefer to be kinder and gentler. Like I said, we're all ND fans and hoping for the best. And as an older fan suffering since 1988, I get some angst.

Oh well. Each to their own. I like everybody here.

Very pot meet kettle post. What lunatic poses as a rivals fan for over a decade and repeats the same post over and over like a pysco. Then when he gets caught being a USC troll he still pretends like nothing happened. You are just as bad as chase, 443 Dennis.

For front runners that's true! As I stated before, it's tough being a fan!

Would you prefer that I insist that he's a TERRIBLE COACH?

I've already ADMITTED MY ERROR.

At this point, I'm aligned with REALITY: THE DATA -- which says he's doing QUITE WELL.

But I STILL HAVEN'T CLOSED MY HEDGE.

As always, ANTHING CAN HAPPEN.

Who predicted Kelly's 4-8 campain or Marcus's Marshall, Stanford and NIU losses?

THINGS CHANGE.
