So why not tell us all how many NC banners would be hanging in the AJC if you had been the coach? At least 6 or 7 right? ND would have renamed the floor BillyBob Buguit court, you would have a statue along side Rockne's...damn...the admin really screwed up....lmao!

It's hard to argue against what Brey and Notre Dame have accomplished the last three years.

my guess is the MBB team will make the tourney. They do not have the talent of some top tier programs but they certainly if they get on a roll they could beat some good teams. college basketball is becoming more of a crap shoot. right now almost any team can win it all. and its amazing the irish got to the elite 8 2 years in a row without a coach.
Bug I do agree with you to an extent about his offense . One thing this team has are very smart players and they have great guard play . Brey does let them play and does not run any sets except inbound plays ( which have been successful) . I would like to see some double screens for VJ but that is not what Brey does. I will give him great great credit for believing in Farrell. Heck I though he was a walk-on. This guy is the MVP of the ACC. Brey is a coach of they year candidate right now and has gained respect on a national level. On the whole he is an excellent coach .. just wish a great big man would join the party .

Hard to say without the chance ... after 15 years of nothing ... year 16 has 5-6 NBA players get to the sweet 16 ... finally ... and suddenly it's all Brey ... they should've made it plenty of times before .... nobody remembers the previous 15 years .... crickets ... just the last 2 ... even then they have no clue what they are watching .....

Odds are the trend won't continue .... unless Farrell can run everything ... the previous 15 years carries no weight for some .... they may continue but the 16-17 years showed that the team will go as far as the players can carry it .... which is too bad
