Football Temporary Notre Dame exhibit coming to Pro Football Hall of Fame

The Pro Football Hall of Fame will unveil Friday its "Gold Helmet to Gold Jacket" temporary exhibit to highlight Notre Dame's impact on professional football.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Friday at 11:30 a.m. EDT in the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Former Notre Dame tight end David Casper, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, is scheduled to attend the ribbon cutting.

Notre Dame is tied with USC for the most representatives in the Hall of Fame at 14. The other 13 in addition to Casper are Jerome Bettis, Tim Brown, Nick Buoniconti, George Connor, Edwards J. DeBartolo Jr., Paul Hornung, Earl "Curly" Lambeau, John "Blood" McNally, Wayne Miller, Joe Montana, Alan Page, George Trafton and Bryant Young.

The exhibit will run daily through April 27.
