This team was a solid college football team. Clemson and Bama have elite talent and elite coaching. Brian Kelly is great for ND. Problem is Clemson and Bama have so much more talent. Once again we look slow when you play Clemson or Bama. Not sure if ND can do any better. This years team was a solid team and still can’t compete.

Well said. ND, along with 97% of college football, will never be elite enough to compete at this level. This is the end road for ND. 12-0 = an end of season beat down or 9/10 wins = winnable bowl game.
