Playoffs??? I Just Don’t See It

ND has a very tough slate of games. They could lose 1, 2, or 3 in the final stretch because remember that we are dealing with 18-22 year old kids and if you all remember how you were at that age...well, I was the equivalent of a squirrel on amphetamines, so who knows what we'll get from one week to the next.

However!!!; this teams' poise, focus, and direction are at a different level than they were a few years ago. We're going to see some really fun times over the next 5-6 weeks. Can't wait!!!

Just heard Joey Galloway and Herbstreit say that the Irish are in if they win out.

If you win out and you are Miami only loss you are in. If Miami and Stanford lose to someone other than you then even if you beat them you are out.

Uh, no.

So in that scenario, let’s say USC wins the PAC12, NC State wins the ACC & MSU wins the Big10.

ND would have wins over 3 Conference Champions.

And let’s say UGA wins the SEC for the cherry on top.

Or something just as simple as your scenario, but USC, MSU, NC State, Miami, Stanford & UGA all end the season ranked. (Navy still could too). ND would have half their schedule against ranked teams.

At 11-1, ND is in.

No Pac12 or ACC champ will go to the playoffs over a one loss ND team. ND's sos is 8 right now for remaining games. B12 is terrible and will definitely be on the outside looking in.

Good article why ND gets in

The soap opera continues. You do realize the more drama, the better? If Clemson wins out, they are a lock to be in it. But they will take a dive so the ncaa/espn can get two sec teams in.

Why does everyone keep saying Clemson is a lock if they win out? They have wins over 2 ranked teams and only play, at most, 2 more (NCSU & ACC Championship). Their loss is to unranked Syracuse.

ND would have wins over 5 ranked teams(possibly 6 if Navy wins out) and the only loss being to Georgia(who will be top 10 at least if they lose to Bama)

THE NCAA AND ESPN HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH PICKING THE TEAMS FOR THE PLAYOFF!!!!!
