Sorry you're right. It was 3rd. But still in that scenario when getting a first is needed it doesn't work. On 1st or 2nd down i can see your point working.
I could deal with a loss if they played well but this is a complete donkey performance and I can’t stand by this head coach anymore if they lose
That ball was uncatchable, that was a terrible call.

Defense looks like they are gassed. Aggies have their running game going. We need to match them.
The line judge spotted the ball correctly, but is was placed back about a half yard, just far enough for the chains to be brought in. And the white hat and his cohorts on the other end of the line, took about 20 seconds to review the play in A&M's favor.
The penalties decided that drive. A&M doesn't score without that happening.
You’d think this is A&M’s personal broadcasting network with how they’re calling the game.
It has been quite one sided all night. But that's what you get on the road, especially when the crowd is into the game as much as they are there. I guess it's easy to get intimidated.
Herbie hates the Irish. As does Espn, the entertainment network. They're unhappy that ND has an NBC contract on their own.
Getting 0 yards on 5 on 5 is so bad
Riley Leonard is less than efficient tonight. I'm hoping he hits a few before the Irish lose this one,
