Freeman and Franklin both made the final four, which Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, LSU, Michigan, etc did not.

Except for he didn't. Kelly was voted into a 4 team playoff. This is the first year that you had to play your way into the final 4.
WAY different games...yeah, same result...but Freeman didn't lose as bad as Day did in 2021

The game was not ideal, but not a rout. Respectable enough. Ohio State was simply better...and there was a chance if ND got the stop on 3rd and 9.

I only have two issues with Gray, both correctable.
1) He needs to play press coverage and get more physical with WR at LOS.
2) He gets off balance by reaching too often instead of moving his feet.
Helluva season. Proud of these boys. Hate to see it end like this.

Dude GFY. If this team were healthy on D they likely win this game. But even so, they gave it everything they had. If I were the DC, I would not have put Gray on an island with Smith but Golden did and they sent the house and it didn't work. This team did their best. They beat two Big 10 teams and the SEC champion with the roster they had and they put a scare into Ohio State who was favored by way in case you forgot by 8.5 points. ND came up short. Everyone on that team feels worse than you EVER will about this, including Marcus Freeman. He will replay this game in his mind until the day he dies wondering what he should have done differently. All of those coaches and players will. So get your shit out of here.
Great season, great fight. Would of loved Moore on Smith on that 3rd down but man they fought. Loss is a loss and we aint playing for the spirit award. Gonna hurt for years but on to 2025 season.
Gray is a good corner and will be back next year and have another good season. He needs to put on some weight and just keep working on his technique and game
