Officially Official National Championship ND v. OSU Game Thread

Did we luck out not having about 8 starters and Cross and Love being injured....???

To be fair....

That's the thing...this has all come to bear against a team like tOSU, the one team in college football that has managed to truly be elite.

ND has narrowed the gap a lot. Clearly some work to do. But a great season.

Unfortunately even some ND fans can't see this and emotionally lash out...acting like this is Davie, Willingham, Weis, and, yes, even Brian Kelly implosions.

People on here told me yesterday this was an all time great defense, and actually compared it to the 85 Bears.
No they didn't. 1 person said it would be like that team if we were healthy

At least troll using close to facts

Well Vegas had us as an 8 pt dog so there is that bright boy. Not many dumber takes then yours Golson
Golson basically called me an idiot yesterday for saying that I can see this being a blowout. So, anything he's says just disregard.

I may have called you an idiot but I always do and in my defense, you are

People have to remember: OSU has 14 five star players on their roster. We have ONE. And that's another reason I expected this blowout. Coaching just can't make up for that much of a talent discrepancy. Even if we had all of our defensive starters healthy, the outcome would still be the same
They have a $20 million payroll

That was a bad decision to kick even though it would have been a tough convert

I don't agree with that

I was thinking that Jeter, who was so bad during the regular season and so great during the playoffs, was due to miss an easy one.

yikes, a missed field goal off the post

What else can go wrong?

I don’t like empty backfield in the red zone, it eliminates a lot of options
