Have you considered that the reason for this is that the QBs get more freedom as they evolve in the system? When Kelly limits the QBs and they are not allowed to check every down they actually do better? Kellys record with freshmen QBs would substantiate it. Now watch the board melt down because it would mean Kelly is a *gasp* good coach.
