Tough break with the injuries and at key positions too. I hope that all of them recover and play next week. As an Irish fan, we here know all too well how injuries can wreck a season.
Thanks for the kind words. You guys were the better team. That was the best team I have seen State play since FSU in 2013. You guys have a national championship caliber team. Hopefully we can win out and win teh ACC.
Wow... big words there. Coming off 4-8, we appreciate it but will remain humble and happy to be watching meaningful football in November.
Im assuming you were at the game, because on tv the did a replay with a line of scrimmage graphic that clearly and unequivocally demonstrated the the DT did jump but did not cross the line of scrimmage and the center hiked it. Of you watched on tv and still believe this was offsides it's just Sour grapes, from the worst part of the ncsu fan base.
Alpha...we all see close plays through our team eyes. Tillery was not offsides as the slow motion replay verified, and the announcers agreed with, after initially saying he was offsides. Totally reasonable for the center to think this, but the error was on him, not the officials. Hope you guys win out.
I just saw the replay. You guys are right. My point wasn't sour grapes. It was the right call. My point was it is disappointing that our QB thought it was offsides, and that is why he threw it up for grabs. Stinks that it had to happen like that. No sour grapes here. Hope you guys win out too.

Agreed as to your point...one of the strangest plays I’ve seen with your entire OL showing discipline and staying in their stance, while your QB throws his worse pass of the game thinking it was a freebie.
The QB was excellent and I was impresssed with the line for NCST on pass protection. We got very little pressure on him. That was a very good team we beat. ND’s defense is well under rated. That really was a quality win. The Wolfpack is for real. 2nd best team we played head and shoulders above all but UGA
I don’t think their QB will agree about little pressure! The kid took a lot of hard hits while standing in there to make a throw, knowing he was going to get leveled. He’ll be one sore guy tomorrow.
Injuries schminjuries. The vaunted NCSU defensive line got lit up by our running game. For some reason the college football world talked themselves into believing they were All World superstars on the same level as Georgia or "one of the best in the nation". Admittedly, every Notre Dame fan should want that to be true so we look even better, but it's not.
NCSU will finished 9-3. That's a great season, but they aren't a Top 15 team.

^They lost three d linemen in the first half. Chubb had 3 TFL and a sack against your All American left tackle. 9 TFL overall. You guys are a great team, no need to criticize the opponent. Just be happy with the win.
They stonewalled the Irish pass rush throughout the First Half and remained steady the entire game. Credit the Irish players for sticking with it instead of feeling sorry for themselves and giving up. They broke thru that wall more then a few times.
Just kick Clemson’s ass next week to put this nonsense to bed.
I don't think he was disputing the call...but rather saying everyone in red thought it wasca free play and the QB did his job accordingly.
Shit happens just like the missed block on the punt and gave up a TD.
NC State has a nice team we're just in a groove right now firing on all cylinders and getting better weekly. That's the real diamond in the ruff here...were getting better each week. Our ceiling is very high with this team.
if you want to talk about missed penalties, make sure you check out the overlooked defensive holding early in the fourth quarter that cost us a touchdown.
^ That was certainly a missed call. But I was sitting right there it was overthrown either way. Like many of BW's deep balls. If he learns to reel it in holy cow will you be even more dangerous. All the NCST fans I met were great. Had a good time with the ones around us at the game. A lot were blaming the refs but there were missed calls on both sides. There was a huge holding of a receiver that would have would have made it 42, but it is what it is. Refs did help ND get 300 yards rushing yesterday.
Not nickle and dime but no, it wouldn't have been overthrown if the receiver was not held.

I took a few pictures inside the stadium, pre-game, of NCST fans at their request. To a person, they were on cloud nine, bucket list check mark, in awe of the whole experience....and I say that in a gratifying humble way.
Overthrown? How can you say that when Boykins was held for atleast a full yard (maybe more) and the ball landed 5 maybe 7 feet over his head. He would have more then made up that distance imo.
That is true for all sites. I met several ND fans and shared my bourbon with them and they offered me beers. Offered to trade hats with one fan from New Jersey and he accepted. He was not there after the game but I left my hat on his side mirror. An offer is an offer. I hated to lose the game but you guys were note physical. I understand it is just a game and I will enjoy the competition and the opponents fan banter. I enjoyed the visit and so much the game. Good luck the rest of the way.

It doesn't matter. You keep playing no matter what may have taken place. Most of our players stopped and waited for the penalty and you should never do that.
That was bizarre. He had a receiver making his route though. Why did he try to throw to him?
One of the several college football shows I watched on Sunday paused the "offsides" play and super imposed a red line at the LOS. It clearly showed Jerry never jumped the LOS and in a panic, the Pack QB tried to throw the ball away but didn't quite make it. Stop their bitching because, if BK wanted to, he could have added another TD to the score at the end but chose not to. By the end of the game, The Pack "D" was toast. It's happened to us. Move on. Clemson is at their door step.
They have moved on. They have a major conference game ahead.They are probably mixing it up with Clemson fans as we speak. Some complaining that "they was robbed" at ND. Others much more realistic.
It doesn't work like that. You don't get to come on a board for a week and run your mouth about your team and then expect everyone to just be silent after we hand you your ass.
Guys got hurt? Welcome to big boy football. That's why the elite schools have depth and the best the NCSU's of the world can hope for is everything going their way to hopefully pull an upset. You have 1 great player. Congrats.

There are absolutely class ncsu fans and most that came to this board we're great. Ncsu fans do however have a horrid rep. Which gets in the way when they go after big coaches (there was a whole fiasco with tracking Mr Murphy's plane when they pursued Calipari for example). If you wonder about the lunatic fringe... They are most likely ncsu fans lol.
