Let Michigan handle their business and we'll handle ours. What concerns me is that there will be no defensive philosophical or strategic changes/adjustments and 2016 will end up with a couple of big game "close but no cigar" endings because of it.

He is taking hard nosed system players. Kids these days want the easy way to pay day. It worked at Stanford but Michigan TBD.
Are you ten years old? Have a discussion like a grown up if you want to discuss or debate anything with me. Singing high expectations at every turn will not make the players play better, it only becomes white noise.
Lol at this thread...this time last year there were people (on boards like this) wondering if harbaugh could land anyone as Michigan wasn't even getting commits. 11 months ago (end of June) people where calling him the 2* king as he got a bunch of verbals from his satellite camps....people where really questioning if he would land a top 25 class...top 10 seemed laughable with top 5 totally delusional...well to posters like the OP.
So this weird thing happens...Michigan ends up with a top 5 class when all is said and done. The same will happen this year. Half of those 3*s are 4*s on other sites. Rivals will catch up (they've already told our board about 2 they missed on that are 4*s based on recent camps...will be when they update). One of our 3*s got invited to The Opening but nobody but our staff had seen him before he attended a recent combine because he is from Montreal (and he is not one of the two I mentioned prior btw). One of the 3*s is rated correctly as A 3* LB but we are bringing him in as A FB. A couple of those 3*s won't end up in our class.
I will be happy to bump this thread in February when Michigan ends up with another top class.

my weekly check on this board and LO and BEHOLD another thread about UM and Harbaugh. The Under the Dome obsession of all things Michigan rolls down the tracks unabated.....lol
I'm not one for attacking other schools and I have respect for all of the other programs. It isn't right to start a thread attacking a school like has been done here. You're talking about the #2 or 3 school in the state of Michigan and as such, deserves some respect...

Just curious. What criteria other than opinion are you using to rate UM #2 or #3 in their state?
Statistically speaking over the last 15 years or so they would be #1 and it ain't that close.

You're very accustomed to kellyball/red zone/other failure. That's why you don't recognize a "pile driving" offense being built. Also, for you to start this thread as some sort of "pre 2017 signing day "moral" victory" is unbecoming. Harbaugh already beat kelly by 8 spots in this year's class, is ranked higher in pre season polls and has better vegas odds.
I actually welcome outsiders if they want to talk the game and not post idiocy such as "my school rules." But some of the guys who are Michigan fans posting here have no purpose other than to flame.

Got it.....an NFC Championship means nothing. Harbaugh's football pedigree dwarfs kelly's. 1st round NFL pick, 3rd in Heisman, led nation is passing efficiency, held the NCAA passing efficiency rating for 12 years,....NFL player/coach.....
PS Despite his experience, I doubt that kelly is even a better women's softball coach.

Ask any NFL player---winning a NFC or AFC championship means nothing. Winning the Super bowl is the only thing that matters.
I know plenty of NFL players that occasionally wear their NFC/AFC/ Super Bowl ring(s).....

as a college coach it DOES NOT mean anything. ii'll grant you that as an NFL coach it does get you some equity.

Interesting take. Let me see if I get this. If you are a college FB fan and visit multiple boards routinely then you are obsessed with all those teams? In fact you would suffer from multiple obsessions?
Let's take it a step further. If you are a college FB FAN (or have followed teams most of your life) of more than one team and frequent their message board you suffer from obsession. Maybe you have attended two different schools, have family or friends that have attended said school and follow their schools as well.
You do realize that many ND fans here frequent other message board sites on a regular basis as well. I would agree that some of those fans are obsessed (some even delusional) but not for that reason.
Those running backs are bigger than all but a few of the top 20 linebackers - both inside and outside.
The linebackers in this class aren't huge. Between both inside and outside guys, I think there's only 10 total over 225 lbs (which isn't a bad weight for a high school junior).
Running backs don't have to drop into coverage. Makes sense to have some tweener sized linebackers. NFL is moving that way as well.
I agree about the running backs. I'm not knocking the size of Michigan's rb recruits. I would assume that the bigger guy might be a fullback in the making if Michigan's using one these days and the weight the kid is carrying at this point is good weight and the other big kid seems like a good grab. But its Michigan, so I don't have to care very much.
I was more interested in responding to what seemed like the suggestion that our linebacker recruits are small. You can call him a tweener if you want, but David Adams is the second biggest inside linebacker ranked in the top 5. It doesn't seem like a "big" class.
