Brey finally puts Farrell in at point and Jackson at 2 guard. Did it take us to be blown out before he woke up? Farrell is a way better pure point guard than Jackson.

Another Farrell assist to Auguste. Jackson dribbles too much. We are rallying with the smarter, better Farrell at the point.
When Roy decides to not worry about how many pts his team gets in transition and worries more about how many touches they get in the paint they are as good as anyone in the country....they have a boatload of talent and in reality should be in the NC game....
Actually, this post could be by his Mom or Dad and I am a big Matt fan being from Jersey. I just don't think you can blame Brey for not finding minutes for Matt when you look at the other options. Matt really can't score at this level but most certainly can handle the ball and run an offense as well as anyone at the D1 level. I am not sure that is enough in the ND and Brey scheme of things.
I hate to see Matt go be it Holy Cross or Penn etc. and hope he sticks it out as if DJ goes, he will have a good shot next year at real minutes. I don't think the family though will take that chance as he just wants to play.

I am not related to Farrell in any way. I have been posting here for a long time. I think Farrell should never shoot the ball unless wide open for a layup. However Farrell at 1 and Jackson at 2 would destroy the other teams defense. When Farrell went in we actually rallied last night. Had it not been for a bad ref call on Auguste's potential 3 point play and charging call we may have made a run. If Farrell just distributes to the scorers on our team we will win in the tournament for a few rounds. I don't think Pfluegor. or Ryan add much to the team. Hopefully next year they will improve. I know I am right and don't care if people wanna call me Mr or Mrs. F. I just want to win.
