Recruiting - Closing Time

That's just stupid stuff

Robinson is rated much higher. And outside of speed he is the better player right now.
One has offers from bama Georgia and lsu… the schools that have the top wrs pretty much every year

usc offered Hines but not Robinson and Robinson is from cali

It’s pretty obvious whom every good football school thinks is the better prospect

Not all offers are committable, you should know that....

Non offers are definitely not committable… won’t pretend like I know which ones are or aren’t but obviously usc Texas and Texas A&M are .

No Texas wasn't. They slow played him. Dakorien Moore went to Oregon and now Texas is becoming a r3al factor

TX am wasn't a factor at all in his recruitment so how do you know that?

Pushed late

Taylor gone, sounds like minimal chance with meadows… Hines questionable, Robinson (by far least talented) most likely

Knight congratulating Taylor flipping

Great day for the Irish
"Knight congratulating Taylor flipping"

These kids are friends outside of football -- maybe he was wishing his friend well???

We're going to struggle landing these wrs down the stretch

Looks like we're going to have to show it on the field before the wr recruiting picks up.

Maybe if we really impress this year we can get back in on some

For whatever reason, Marcus Freeman is struggling landing an abundance of top 100 or even top 200 WR’s.

Doing well otherwise.

Good class at wr last year with terrible wr play in 23

Another year of terrible wr play and switching your wr coach is a big factor

They're going to have to improve on the field for wr recruiting to improve

Yet, QB recruiting is going really well with three different OC's in the last 4 years, and QB play that has been average the last 3 seasons.

It’s why I think deuce isn’t representing nd in the recruiting field like he should

He's recruiting like crazy, including him recruiting Jadon Blair who just committed
This is true. Deuce is crushing it.

After the disaster of sticky and the room falling apart, why would anyone come to ND until ND demonstrates things are better.

Brown is a better coach than recruiter, but once there is a demonstration of improvement WRS will come. Id expect wr to be the new target of transfers for the next two years as we cool off taking a QB every year.

Let’s withhold judgement on wr recruiting until we hear Meadows and Robinson and Hines announce their commitments. Hoping we get two of the three, but very possible we get shut out. Well apparently know soon enough.

Tanook Hines to USC.

Well -- Hines has gone to USC, so, now down to 2

WR Dylan Robinson announces today at 5:15pm ET. Notre Dame, UCLA, or Washington.

Likely Washington. We’ll have to go all in on Meadows.
It's down to LSU and Notre Dame for Derek Meadows. Another 5-Star verbal for Brian Kelly yesterday, and if LSU lands Derek Meadows, that is quite a week.

CB or two today for LSU with Meadows

At this point, with the class almost complete. Possibly the worst class of WRs & RBs i can remember, i mean epically bad.

Now, there's time to fix the WR issue and have a great season, and flip one or two. For some reason they aren't over recruiting the RBs (well i guess they tried a little awhile back and didn't land him).

You don't like the combination of Justin Thurman and Daniel Anderson?

They took both of those guys extremely early. There must be something that the staff loves.

What are your thoughts on both guys?

Anderson no business being in the class. Thurman should be a second rb for depth. He’s ok

The combination of taking both 2 years early is terrible. We have an awesome rb room, why waste a class let alone 2 schollys on rbs less talented than all 6 in our current rb room. Anderson significantly less talented

It’s like they felt let’s just get some guys and take a year off recruiting RB. But they are not the concern. Not being able to recruit anyone at all at WR is unacceptable.
