There is absolutely nothing wrong with pointing out tendencies, their causes, and the issues they present.
The 30-and-Under generation is far from the only people suffering from the "Too Much Entitlement, Not Enough Work-Ethic" syndrome
It would be foolish to think you can absolutely apply a tendency to every single member of a group...but that doesn't make the tendency any less true
Our nation has an issue (actually many, many issues), and some of them present themselves disproportionately with certain groups of people (including my generation)
You haven't shown the least bit of ability to deal with reality like this though
Not saying all of this generation: the ones that go to college seem to be more entitled and left wing. The ones that go in the service and then a trade school or college seem more mature and not entitled. Our dopey friend Ivan cartoon life has ignoramus drawn all over him

Also, students who have worked hard in high school, received good grades, and who have earned a chance to go to a university are not "immature".

And as someone who worked hard in high school, went to college (recently) and knows a lot of these kids...................a TON of them are immature.
A lot of college kids have no real-world experience and certainly act like entitled 8-year-olds.
Not all of them, but many of them.
I think we'd be FAR better off as a nation if we started prioritizing work experience and/or military experience as near pre-requisite for college admissions
(personally, I'd make that change at nearly every state-funded school)
Not sure what it means now but it came out of a speech that had to do with the narcissism of the young people who were always told they were unique perfect little snowflakes. Had little to do with complaining at first. My have taken on a different meaning though.

I don't think that this " Genration " is any near Tough enough to take the training, discipline, and military life ? Of course, there are exceptions like the people currently serving in our military and those that
were born poor and had to work hard from an early age.
But generally speaking, When I look back at my Parents' generation, the Greatest Generation and compare that generation to the most recent few generations, I fear that we are getting near the bottom of the
slippery slop that we have been on since the 1960's .
I also see North Korea, Iran, and other international hot spots, that I think will and must be dealt with
sooner rather than later because weak kneed leaders and wishful thinkers wanted " Peace in our time ". As a
result, We may have to to act quickly or risk nuclear war ?
Unfortunately, I just don't see this generation uniting, joining the military and doing what has to be done ?
They will dig up old slogans that their " Radical Professors " used in the 1960,s like " Make love, not war !"
until the last minute before some lunatic fires the first nuclear war head in our direction !

I think you're overstating and over-generalizing, which is where people like Ivan are going to rip this type of post/opinion apart
But in general, I think there is too much entitlement and not enough toughness/work-ethic in my generation.
Specifically, I think this has been a problem for every previous generation too, likely in similar proportions.
But in my generation we've allowed people with these issues to soak up more resources (entitlements) and rise to higher levels, despite their lack of willingness to do whatever it takes and/or their immaturity.
We need to change the culture to one that focuses more on hard work to get what you want, and being entitled to basically nothing.

Also according to rgc unless you enlist out of high school and join the Infantry unit you're a less human being. I'll tell you what that is, stupid! The smart kid who wants to be in the military either goes into ROTC in high school/college and graduates as an officer or enlists with a specific MOS. Do their time and then be productive in the civilian workforce. I see a lot of the above examples!

I don't expect or necessarily want the younger generation to be conservatives per se, as youthful idealism is part of the rite of passage in our society and culture. I'm much more concerned over the lack of critical thinking taking place throughout our education system, and the appalling lack of factual knowledge of both our history and current affairs. It's one thing to embrace a well reasoned liberal or progressive ideology, and something entirely different to blindly follow the group think that passes for higher education in this country today.

I may not agree with every outcome, but I'm very rarely upset by a well informed and well reasoned opinion.
In fact, being presented with those types of opinions is great, especially when you disagree with them, because it challenges you to fairly articulate a specific reason that you disagree with it.
Those are really enjoyable and productive conversations.
I hope that I am both over generalizing and that I am too pessimistic and also wrong, but I see History
repeating itself , and it is very troubling to me ! Again, I hope against hope that I am wrong !
If it makes you feel any better, based on my experiences, I think that's the case.
There are a lot of effort/toughness/competitiveness issues with my generation (as there have been with every generation) but there are a lot of assets and positives too. If pervious generations continue to invest in my generation, in terms of teaching/molding, I think we'll continue to squeak by.
However, it's possible that my view on this is skewed by my experiences.
Not one time did I say my message was gospel. More anecdotal.
