Brady grew up in Ohio and had been a Browns fan all his life. I think the dream of any kid who grows up playing football is to play one day for the team of his childhood dreams. So I don't blame Brady for hoping to be drafted and play for the Browns. The Browns weren't world beaters when Brady got drafted, but they were an OK team then. They made the playoffs Brady's rookie year, with Derek Anderson playing QB. It wasn't until Jimmy Haslam bought the team in 2012 that the Browns went into the toilet. He was kind of like the Donald Sterling of NFL owners. They've mostly been dysfunctional ever since. We'll see if Baker Mayfield and OBJ can change that around this year. The injury bug is what derailed Brady's NFL career, and not that he was drafted by the Browns.

The Browns have had 2 decent seasons since 1999. They’ve been the biggest joke of the NFL, no matter who owned them.
