Deferring to the second half

The "middle 8" last four of first half and first four of second half were something they definitely took advantage of. Strip sack-->TD-->KO return for a TD

All the years BK took the ball after winning the coin-toss (drove me nuts). Thank god Freeman see’s the value in getting the ball in the second half. That kick return was crushing to GA.
Definitely, I think Weis did as well, so almost 2 decades worth of taking the ball.
Now, finally a coach who understands the value of deferring to the second half is refreshing.

That is a thing with BK. LSU fans hate it too. I don't know where he picked that up. But it seems like it's some personal thing with him. Doesn't seem to have served him too poorly over the years, considering all his sustained success. You'd think he would have scrapped if it had been a problem for him. Maybe that's all that's ever been standing between him and a national championship.

Georgia scored a touchdown on the next series, and Notre Dame scored 3 points the rest of the game.
UGA scored first, ND scored 5 of the last 6 scores in that game.....UGA was up in Q1, ND never trailed after and UGA never outscored them in any quarter after the first.
