We have our own Mel Kiper.Guy’s, CJ is a very nice young man. I am in no way trying to tear him down. However, I live in Michigan. I live 45min from Saline. That Southeastern Conference-Red division is very weak and non athletic. Watch his film. Look at the size and lack of athleticism of the teams he plays. When Saline makes the playoffs they get bounced pretty early.
Very average conference. On the flip side, Moore plays in one of the toughest divisions in the State. When King makes the playoffs they are Division 3. When Saline makes the playoffs, because they have so many students, they are a division 1. However, anyone in the state of Michigan knows the toughest division in the playoffs is
1. D3
2. D2
3. D1
Look at the teams in their conference. The most they win are 5 out of 9 games. Most of the teams have 1-3 wins eqch

Doesn’t matter what his competition is. He projects highly as an NFL QB if he reaches his potential. He has all the tools necessary. He’s outstanding when he competes against the best talent in the country at QB competitions.
Cj has gotten more athletic, is filling out his frame and his arm strength looks to have taken another jump.

They are the biggest money grab in all of youth sports.
You can see talent anywhere.
You get an updated size/weight profile. You can see if their was a jump in arm strength. If you dont use it, you're just being stubborn
His film, 7 on 7 and camp performances speak for themselves. There's nothing more to see
Hes a flat out stud
CJ should be a top 5 QB. He probably will be before signing day. He’s every bit as good as Dante Moore was. This isn’t your average Phil Jurkovek or Brandon Wimbush.
Buchner is a perfect example, he's made significant improvement from last year.. Carr will be a 5 star when he arrives at ND.
Dante Moore may start as a true freshman at UCLA, if you are to believe what you read out of UCLA Spring Football. Extremely talented 17-year-old.
He’s very good. Not too bright in terms of college choice, but very good quarterback.

I really liked Kizer and Golson and Buchner coming out of HS. But Carr has more upside than all of them did.
I like Minchey a lot. He can really good. But Carr is a beer prospect.

He made a good college choice. Chip is a really good offensive coach and he will do very well there

CJ has done nothing in high school to make me believe he is the game changing QB ND has desperately needed.
Time will tell. Just giving my opinion.
And no, he is no where near the QB Donte Moore is. What Moore did in multiple playoff/championship games, has separated him from CJ and a lot of QBs.
Moore is a game changer period.
