Carr is Irish!

Nope just a real notre dame fan. How about you?
So I am not a real Notre Dame fan because I am not drooling over a 18 year old QB and calling him the next great thing?????

My opinion, which I formed from living 60min from his high school and have seen him play since 8th grade. Does not and should not bring my ND loyalty into question.

He is a good D1 QB

Average arm strength
Average accuracy
Average athlete

Elite football IQ
Great teammate
Great young man
Great family
Will represent any university well

There is nothing special about CJ. Nothing that will put fear into any DC.

He is not a game changer.

Also a very, very hardworking young man.

He will not be any better than what ND has had at QB the past 10 years.

Anyone who says average accuracy is either awful at evaluation or just trying to be different.

When you say average accuracy and Dante is a better athlete, people should question that persons evaluation seriously. Its poor

One reason, his accuracy is high is because of the level of competition. He is playing against. His wide receivers are much taller and faster than the corners they are playing against.

You have to factor that in when you are talking about accuracy. He is not threading the needle or throwing to a small window. watch his highlights. Where is he threading the needle? Those wide receivers are wide open

Are you kidding me? That’s insane! His receivers are big? Again if you watched the Belleville game that makes zero sense.Belleville is huge and all DBs will play At the next level. Also Huron has some of the top defensive backs in the area. You have zero clue what you are talking about. Must be from Bedford which is the one game that that kid played badly in. Now it makes sense.

You really wanna go through the Saline roster??? Okay, let’s play

6’6 TE Mesman
6’2 WR who also plays DE Harris
6’2 WR #19

Yes, Belleville he played great against D1 players.

But the other 10 games he played was against babies.

He looked and played very good but against small DBs.

His TE is a grown man.

He wins the accuracy challenge at every camp he goes to. Just won another one to make the elite 11

He was accurate at Notre Dames camp and hes accurate in 7 on 7

Stop with the average accuracy nonsense. His mechanics and footwork are about as good as you'll see from a high schooler

Say all you want but it's not possible to say he isnt elite in accuracy

You're just wrong

Omg you look at what people put on rosters? If you watched actual games you would have seen that Mesman rarely caught a pass all season. Saline had zero receivers that were 6’2”. Lucky if any of them are 6 foot 😂

Let’s start with this

The kid is a legit 6’6. He towers over CJ. Look at the players trying to cover him. Huge mismatch.

Noah Bonner 6’2

Look at the size difference on the very first play of the highlights

The CB is a baby

And yet you said highlights don’t tell the story. 😂. Bonner played on JV the majority of the season and that first play you mention is the JV team with Cj’s little brother at QB. This just keeps getting better
Almost all of those highlights are from their junior varsity team with Cj’s little brother 😂

Did he play varsity???? Yes

He was a junior (2024) same class as CJ, Junior’s don’t play JV in Michigan unless the suck. The kid has offers so he doesn’t suck.

That kid is a junior who plays JV and that film is of JV games because that’s CJ’s little brother. You act like you know so much…film don’t lie. That’s a junior in high school against probably freshman or sophomores which is why he looks so big. What offers does that kid have? Keep trying to rationalize

You see how almost every highlight is during the day. Junior varsity. Also you can see that it’s not CJ throwing him the ball…except in 2 plays 😂

This has been fun. As someone who actually knows about football in the state of Michigan, I hope this thread has made it clear that @Zorich 88 knows nothing about football in the state of michigan even though his says he lives there. He obviously saw CJ’s worst game and has now made his opinion. But his “facts” are completely wrong 😂

We knew he didn't know anything but this was nice too

Check his Twitter attached to his Hudl. Shows the offer.

Bottom line. CJ has multiple players over 6’0 to throw the ball to. Look at CJs film. Look at how small the defense is.

I don’t care how many JV games the kid played. He was a 6’2 WR that had a huge size advantage. Another big target for CJ.

Check the 50 second mark of CJs film. They are in trips. Those are tall WRs vs small non athletic Corners.

You just can’t admit that you have no clue. Look at their starting roster. His receivers were 6 foot and 5’ 11”….and they usually inflate things on rosters. The kid you are talking about barely played a down on varsity. Maybe some clean up duty as a junior. I don’t care how tall he is. My son plays against cj and has for years. I have watched him in person in 3 sports. My son’s teams most always lost to them but I’m not going to make excuses for why. He’s a great athlete. Guessing your son or sons have experienced the same but you are making excuses for why.

Oh wait your son is a quarterback. Now I get it. 😂

My son plays college football. And no not a QB.

He never played CJ.

My youngest son is to young to worry about CJ.

You know the in season competition CJ and Saline see is average at best.

His WRs are minimum 6’ but 3 are 6’2. He plays against average athletes until the playoffs.

He is 100% a D1 QB

However, he is no better than what ND has had the past 10 years.

He is not a game changer. He is not better than TB who just transferred. Definitely not better than Book.

No where near the talent coming out in the draft.

I guess we will see but you honestly know nothing about the saline team that’s for sure. Oak park is a lot better and so is belleville 😉

He's way more talented than Book. He's more talented than Hartman.

He actually can be like a CJ Stroud

And I think your son has 1 more year to worry about cj. Belleville’s really good though

I hope you're wrong on this Zorich. Carr looks the part, he's big and seems to throw well. He's got great bloodlines and has been coached by the best his whole life. He's exactly what ND hasn't had since Clausen. Now let's see if ND can keep him in the fold..

Losing Buchner makes CJ Carr the most important recruit in my memory. Thank God he seems sold on the Irish.

Can’t blame Buchner for seeing a way on the field at Bama. That’s a once in a million opportunity. It’s super rare for Bama to have a huge hole at QB. Even if he plays one season and is mid, he will have one hell of an NIL deal. He might get beat out and transfer but his odds of playing now are higher there than at ND. Nobody on their roster is Sam Hartman.

Carr is better than Sayin IMO. He’s going to destroy everyone at the elite 11 finals and get his 5th star back from On3. EVEN IF NOT, they’re the only service that has him ranked low and it’s bc of one d bag worker that won’t admit he was wrong. I think he wins it all, like Dante.

I view all of this as a positive for ND. Hartman is a bad mother ****er and legitimately destroyed Bamas likely starter in head to head competition. Plane and simple. If I were Buchner, I’d likely have stayed, but I see why he took the bait.

Noland apparently beat out Davis for Elite 11. Does anyone know if that means Davis doesn’t get to go? I know CJ is invited. Would be funny if David doesn’t get invited.
