Crazy. On a gutsy call too. Glad we did what we did tonight or this would feel awful
LSU just did the CFP a huge favor. There is no way in hell Bama is considered for the top four.
I remember there being a lot of posts about what’s going to happen to him versus Georgia and Alabama and so on. The interesting thing is that all these games I’ve been really close and the team stays incredibly confident. Kelly is and always has been a great coach and program builder.
I like where we’re at, too, though. He left us in a really good place and I hope Freeman and his recruiting put us over the top.

He is a great coach, just not elite. Imo there's only 1 elite coach in college football today and Kelly beat him today. Urban was the other.

Some of you are pathetic, really. Stop the BK bashing - you’re embarrassing yourselves. He’s the winningest coach, did great things for our Irish, and he’s done a great job at LSU this year. He left, we should thank him for what he did for Notre Dame, and continue rooting for and focusing on our Irish. Great win, tonight. Go Irish.

He was never going to do it at ND. MF is going to land the talent to do it. Insanity is doing the same thing every year and expecting a different result. We did that 10 years. LSU is happy, ND is happy.

Kelly still has to win at Arkansas and Texas A&M which arent easy places to win. Then he would have to face Georgia if he wins out. It aint over till its over.
BK is a really good coach. I don't know if he's a GREAT coach. But he certainly is capable if winning a national championship at LSU. If Les Miles and Ed Orgeron can win a NC, BK certainly can. Miles and Orgeron are average at best. I don't even know if I would rate them that good. And I understand why he left. Let's face it, the SEC is the cream of the crop in college football. They have the top athletes, and great fan bases even in the bottom teams.

Indeed. What a great effin' night! ND just manhandled Clemson, truly awesome team win. And then BK and LSU gets the classic win vs Bama in OT going for two like a motherfcker! Balls out and they get it! I'm pretty drunk right now. But I did get to see the last part including OT, after we completely sealed the win over sorry-ass Clemson.
