Yes we got destroyed. But to say we are not 1 of the 4 that had the best season in 2020 is absurd. If we don’t belong then neither does any other team not named Alabama or Clemson. If you want to say OSU or Texas AM, give me a break. OSU’s quality wins, Indiana and Northwestern. We all know they have been power houses for years. A&M got boat raced already by Bama maybe like we will as well. Quality win for A&M a three loss Florida team. Yes we don’t belong if it was a two team field but the last I checked it’s a 4 team playoff. I’m proud of what ND accomplished this year. We did beat the #1 team in the country this year. I’m looking forward to one more game and god willing 2 more. Go Irish

Shocked a little by this group. The entire team folded yet again after the Doerer miss, but Kraemer, Hainsey and Lugg in particular were getting blown off the ball and put on their backsides wayyyy too often from what i observed. Thoughts?

How did our defense look so bad in this game but give up essentially the same number of points as they did in regulation of the game in South Bend?

1) Not having a Stephon Tuitt or Aaron Lynch type pass rusher.

2) Not having a Michael Floyd or Golden Tate type player at WR.

In these 'big' games you have to have guys who you can 'put the game on their shoulders' in critical moments. Book can only do so much on his own.

Top tier teams. What’s not ok is the complete collapses ND has had under Kelly coached teams.

I can handle a loss. I can’t handle when our team gets completely mauled.

Kelly is just not a great big game coach. If he was truly a great coach, he could keep these games w in reach. We have not seen that. That is my only complaint w him really.

How would of they looked against Clemson today? I think both would of been blowned out also, especially Ohio State the way they played against a slow Northwestern team.

Zero respect is exactly the motivation that this team needs. They'll be ridiculed non-stop until kickoff vs. Bama. They might lose and it could get ugly, but if they win then it'll be the biggest win for the program in decades. I wouldn't bet against this team under those circumstances.

This game has turned into a shootout. UF has definitely gained momentum in the 3rd Qtr.

I get beating a great team twice is really difficult, but moving this line 3 points is unheard of. That’s an enormous amount of money bet on Clemson. Time to prove the doubters and haters wrong and create a bonanza for Vegas!
