Lou, the inevitable "ND's best team ever" has surfaced

Given the # 2 ranking, current winning streaks and the endless supply of podcasts and social media contributors. The inevitable "ND's best team ever" banter has begun. One has to remember the generational gaps between many of our fellow posters. Assume you probably know this discussion and comparisons were coming at some point.
Have two questions for you to start this off.
1. Would you say this is ND's best team under Brian Kelly/
2. How would you compare this team to the Holtz teams of the early 90's? Those teams were loaded with NFL talent.

DAILY COVID-19 THREAD: Saturday, November 28

• All thoughts on COVID, statistics, speculation, updates, etc. should be posted in the daily thread.

• COVID threads that pop up separately on the board will be merged into our daily thread — with the exception of sports news items that are related to COVID (school testing updates, announcements, etc.). These can have their own threads but our staff has final discretion.

• As always, political posts – whether in the COVID thread or not – will be deleted.

Another fantastic week for the 9-0 ND football team was completed with the 31-17 victory, with everyone in the two deep available.

There are some very DUMB CFB announcers

todays observations

Mich St-NW game= 3rd and 8 with under a minute left and guy says this will be Rocky Lombardis most important pass ever

wrong run the ball other team vcant stop cock

TAM-LSU 1333 left is 1st QTR 4th down at own 34 1/2 yard line and he s surprised Fisher isnt going for it

with a couple of dillweeds/dingus

also dont want to be a dingus myself- Vandy game NEW kicker kickoff went to about 35 yard line- No men soccer players can kick that far?

Auburn sucks

Texas sucks

Okie St sucks

Jumbo Shrimp Fisher sucks

how about RB from Buffalo for Heisman has about 800 yards last 2 weeks

Media spin/Clemson

The effect of media in sports or otherwise is maddening, and hopefully the playoff isn't affected by it. It seems as though if ND loses in the ACCCG then the Clemson loss doesn't mean a thing for them, and also doesn't mean a thing for ND. Insane. Apparently Lawrence will throw for 700 yards on us instead of 400 and Etienne will run for 250 instead of 28. Just ranting.
