CJ May talks about his commitment..

On why he picked Notre Dame:

"The Irish program just really hits home for me and the love I get from the coaches on the daily just really sticks out to me because as a recruit relationships are my #1 because you need to feel you can trust the coaches as if they’re a father- or brother-ilke figure to you and what Notre Dame has going right now is exactly where I want to be part of."

Notre Dame only had 10 players on the field on the last two plays

how can that happen after a timeout?

MOD EDIT: Discussing in this thread with quotes.

ND takes steps to prevent a Red takeover of stadium tomorrow

NY Times article yesterday on preventing what happened with Nebraska and Georgia games. Basically, nothing to stop individuals from selling to opposing fans but ND will only sell returned tickets to people with previous ND connection ( example current or past season ticket holders). Most significant is the 5,000 allotted tickets to OSU fans will be scattered around the upper rows of the stadium, no big block.

Recruiting Four-star RB Daniel Anderson commits to ND's 2025 class.

Four-star RB Daniel Anderson is Irish.

He commits to Notre Dame's 2025 class while on campus for Ohio State game.

Official Tommy Rees Is Bad At His Job Thread (sjb75 stay out)

Can we all agree that Turnover Tommy was riding BK’s coat tails? He did it as a player and a coach. I know it’s a small sample size but based on this year’s offensive rankings LSU is ranked 6th in total offense, ND 16th and Bama 82nd. Bama has the players. They can out athlete any team they play.

Recruiting Remote updates on Notre Dame commits and targets in Friday's HSFB action

Before many commits flock to campus for Notre Dame's game against Ohio State on Saturday, they'll take the field on Friday night to continue their senior and junior campaigns.

Notre Dame's newest 2024 commit, offensive tackle Guerby Lambert, won't suit up until Saturday afternoon for West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial. 2024 defensive end commit Loghan Thomas also won't play for Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward until Saturday.

2024 defensive end commit Cole Mullins remains sidelined due to injury for Hoschton (Ga.) Mill Creek while 2024 linebacker commit Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa and 2024 cornerback commit Leonard Moore are on bye weeks for their respective schools.

Inside ND Sports will update this thread as the night continues with reports of commits performances and updates from the head-to-head battle between two defensive tackle commits in Florida.

I'll also monitor 2025 offensive and defensive targets that are on Notre Dame's recruiting board and report any updates or highlight clips from their games. 2025 wide receiver target Cooper Perry will be matched up against 2025 cornerback target Cree Thomas later tonight in Arizona.

Recruiting Scratching the surface: ND offer only the beginning for 2025 OL Easton Ware

I spoke with Notre Dame 2025 offensive tackle target Easton Ware this week after he landed an offer from the Irish on Wednesday. Notre Dame was Ware's 10th offer. He also holds offers from Baylor, Cincinnati, Duke, Liberty, Oklahoma, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

The 6-foot-5, 285-pound recruit is rated as a three-star prospect according to Rivals. He is ranked as the No. 37 offensive tackle in the 2025 recruiting class.

Ware received his phone call from director of recruiting Chad Bowden, who handed the phone to offensive line coach Joe Rudolph.

"It was a super cool moment," Ware told Inside ND Sports. "Super unreal. It kind of felt like a movie ... super cool for me, like a dream come true."

Ware camped at Notre Dame in June, and during our conversation, told me Rudolph's mellow coaching style is something he prefers for in a position coach. Ware said Rudolph isn't a screamer but he'll ramp it up at appropriate times.

Ware said he's thankful for all of his offers and he's considering all schools currently. He attends Lynchburg (Va.) Liberty Christian Academy and already visited Duke and Liberty on game day visits this season.

However, Ware didn't shy away by saying Notre Dame is really high on his list and cited academics as one of the bigger factors in his recruitment. He also mentioned Notre Dame's campus as one the best he's visited.

"I want a school that's going to set me up, like what they do for next 40 years, I want a school that is going to help set me up for life. gonna help me find a job after [and] help me become a successful man in the real world because football is gonna eventually end for everyone," Ware said. "Some people make it to the NFL and some people don't. You got to have a realistic backup plan."

He plans to visit Notre Dame on Oct. 14 for its game against USC. Ware said the visit was already scheduled before his offer, but now that he has an offer, he's even more eager for the trip.

"I'm very excited to see their game atmosphere, I think they have one of the coolest entrances," Ware said. "I'm super excited [to] see how coach Rudolph performs in a game situation, how his line performs. The success they've had this season, it's gonna be super cool to see up against a team like USC."
