@Tyler James Question for you. When you drill down on this how are Rico Flores and Joey Tonona ranked higher than Riley Leonard. Do the rankings take into consideration how many years of eligibility left? I’m especially confused with Tonona….i thought he was the injured one….if we medically retired him was he not able to come back to us to play? Just seems weird he’s ranked so high when a year ago he was done playing the game.

Linebacker JD Bertrand has accepted an invite to the Senior Bowl. Earlier this month, he accepted an East-West Shrine Bowl invite. Bertrand hasn’t publicly said whether or not he’s playing in the Sun Bowl.

Meanwhile, offensive tackle Joe Alt and cornerback Cam Hart, two other captains, officially declared for the NFL Draft on Wednesday.

Notre Dame men’s basketball extended an offer to 2025 small forward London Jemison on Wednesday.

Per Rivals, Jemison is a four-star and the No. 102 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class. He also has offers from schools including Syracuse, Villanova, Virginia and Xavier.

I can't think of the last time it has happened? Poor Joe Rudolph is really going to have his hands full. He has to replace the QB of his offensive line and his two bookends protecting his prized QB by August 31 when they face possibly the best team on their schedule! I see ND having to play multiple TE's to assist in pass pro unless these two have an epiphany.

Have a lot of time to think while lying in bed all day with COVID. One of the things I thought about was the 2024 College Football Playoff. Here's one way it could go, with the caveat that there's lots of transferring and signing yet to happen. I am going with the assumption that they will move from the 6+6 model to the 5+7.

I like where Notre Dame stands with most of its transfer portal target visitors from the past week. It looks like the Irish should continue to hit at a pretty high rate with their visitors.

I feel best about Duke quarterback Riley Leonard, Duke DE R.J. Oben and South Carolina kicker Mitch Jeter. Less confident about Washington State WR Josh Kelly.

Just wanted to share my expectations as we head into the week.

Unless I missed it, Rico has yet to post a transfer destination. Any rumor/chance MF has asked him to sit tight ‘til he speaks w Brown to see if such might change his mind?

Both remain in the running for unanimous All-America honors. They'll find out tomorrow at 11 a.m. ET

Notre Dame quarterback Sam Hartman shared this long video on Instagram in which he says farewell to college football, though he doesn't specifically address whether he's playing in the bowl game.

Though it's a pretty safe assumption that he's not playing in the Sun Bowl, we're working to make sure that's what his intentions are.

Update: ND has confirmed that Hartman will not play in the Sun Bowl.

Jonaz Walton, a 2026 running back from Carrollton (Ga.) Central, reported a Notre Dame offer Tuesday. Notre Dame joins an offer list that includes the likes of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Florida State and USC.

Walton rushed 192 times for 1,683 yards and 22 touchdowns as a sophomore this season.

Notre Dame has five commitments in the list. QB Deuce Knight and S Ivan Taylor are in the top 100. RB Daniel Anderson fell just outside the top 200. CB Cree Thomas and and DE Joseph Reiff are newly minted four-star recruits.
