Leonard , Greathouse and Freeman are done.

Tell that to Mike Elko, who plays in the SEC.
A&M have their own QB issues. ND played tough and got the W. However , it doesn’t take away the fact the offense is not that good. You need to score. They are having a tough time through 2 games scoring. Fact. You need to put points up if you want to win. Pretty simple

Leonard , Greathouse and Freeman are done.

How about this for an observation. Maybe these players aren’t that good. Ask yourself this. What players would make it on an SEC team or Ohio state or Penn st , Texas ? And if they did , would they play ? From my observation, maybe one or two could play on an elite team. ND does not have one great player. None. Yet you still should beat NIU. Unless you really aren’t that good. Which I think is the actual truth. If ND has great players then they should beat Purdue. I think ND loses. Purdue can score points. ND cannot. ND defense got exposed. Purdue will follow the blueprint. Unless Joe Montana is sitting on the bench waiting to get a chance to play, there is nothing in the first two games that says the Irish are good team.

Where's Golson5?

Look it up it's out there reported by a number of recruiting services. I'm not going to do your research for you. You are just so anti Notre Dame you can't fathom that anyone ND recruits would also receive offers from elite programs. You are the biggest loser on this forum.
Angeli was a composite 4 star. and he was the #21 ranked QB in the nation. Compare that to Leonard who was a composite 3-star as the 48th ranked QB in the nation and ranked way in the high 600's and yet the staff reached into the portal to grab him over what they already have. Just dumb

Is Nebraska For Real?

Shouldn't have though. You don't belong in the top 20 losing to a team like that. Actually, shouldn't even be scheduling a team like that.
Perhaps but FCS is worse than the MAC at least generally speaking. NIU might end up being a good team. ND lost to 9-4 Marshall two years ago and finished in the top 25.

One bad loss doesn’t mean a team isn’t top 25. It happens even though it’s a bummer.

I’m actually pretty concerned about the defense matching up against Georgia Tech. Probably more than I am about Leonard.

If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, it probably is a duck

Another thought of mine. Why is 10-15th results acceptable? (its been the consistent result for decades now). ND promotes a top 5 product (a championship product), but are they top 5 in any of the components of a college football program that matter? (NIL, recruiting, talent, coaching staff, facilities, etc.?) And if not, why not? And who is being held accountable?

ND vs Nothern Illinois game thread

If I was a 5 star high school QB why would I go to Notre Dame? It's a great school, but we don't have game breaking wide receivers and don't throw the ball downfield much. Seeing that offense on TV would not make me want to come here.
1. Because you as a 5 star could start immediately. 2. How does Auburn do it?
Oh it's not a wonder.
out with it.

12 seconds left

I had no idea they thought the kicker would be able to make a 62 yarder so I wasn't as hard on the decision not to call time out and instead clock it and lose 3 ticks..

My thought was after watching several football games with new clock rules that you're going to burn 3 seconds by the time they wind the clock and the time it's killed. I've seen some teams lose 5 seconds in this operation.

Why not call a timeout at 12 seconds to preserve 3 ticks and up to 3 shots at least two to get the kicker closer to a 50 yard shot.

I like an out route to the sideline with no timeouts or try to bust a quarters / cover 2 look and it seems they didn't begin that series with the end in mind.

Such as life with this coaching staff.

Disjointed to say the least.

Michigan vs Texas

How are you guys doing? We over here at Michigan are cleaning our Championship rings while we cope with losing to the #3 team. What are you guys doing to cope with losing to a MAC team at home?
Michigan is like a good looking model that smells like a skunk and has bad breath. The fact that you take pride in something that was based on cheating tells anyone all you need to know about the lack of class and integrity present in Michigan and Harbaugh. Ohio State's tight end Cade Stover recently brought forth another example of Michigan cheating. Stover (OSU's very good tight end) stated that Michigan knew a screen was coming on a play that they had never run before from a formation they had never used before and the players were yelling "screen" "screen" https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio...-ohio-state-had-never-used-in-a-game#comments

You Michigan people can be really proud.

I don’t know who should be credited with it, but somebody “unlocked” Jayden Daniels.

Cuz before last year he was afraid to throw the ball down the field
Alright, LSU proved to have a better offensive coaching staff than the fighting Herman Edwards's of Arizona State University. That is not setting the bar very high.
