Where's Golson5?

Who cares if anyone is wrong… Riley needs benched now to salvage season and freeman needs fired at end of year to salvage program

I stated freeman should have been fired in 21 when he was DC…. I hate that I was right … Kelly hiring freeman has set nd back big time

Freeman is just a moron that needs others to tell him what to do.
Yawn.

Leonard , Greathouse and Freeman are done.

I just think back to 1977. Like him or not, DEVINE was an extremely experienced head coach with both college and professional knowledge, yet even after coaching MONTANA for two full seasons And start of #3 he still had him at #3 on depth chart. And the ONLY REASON he got in at PURDUE was injuries to #1,2. So I would SAY 90% of Fan base KNEW MONTANA was better. Yet the coaches did not. WHY? I have NO F’ING CLUE !!!!! But this is bordering on that. I actually believe MINCHEY might be the guy. Give Angeli one half and depending on game circumstances MINCHEY 2nd half.
See what they can do. But REMEMBER EVEN at Clemson a seasoned winner was replaced in game three? With a Freshman And went on to win NC.
Sometimes coaching assessments are wrong. The good coach has a confidence to accept his ERRORS and try to make POSITIVE ADJUSTMENTS. Certainly without adjustments this team is 8-4 and that might be optimistic.
One or two players can change the WHOLE TRAJECTORY of the SEASON.
As bad as we played at QB, O line, play calling, defense miscues, turnovers, etc. put Brandon AUBREY on this team and we are 2-0.
One player addition can make the difference.
Very disappointed in current team play.
So let’s see what adjustments, if any, are made.

Devine's refusal to start Montana was two-fold: Montana suffered a dislocated shoulder that cost him the 1976 season in pre-season camp after being named the starter. Montana did not do well in spring practice in 1977, yet he played in the bookstore basketball tournament over Devine's objections and Devine pretty much blew a gasket over it and refused to play Montana until he absolutely had to.

That said, I agree that someone else needs to be given a shot to lead this team.

I think it's funny

That the offense completely shit the bed.

And the "journalists" running a paid site that knows they have competition for their viewership / subscriptions

Have the gall to call out this teams defense and leave the putrid offense production and ST execution as an aside to the main article as if that weren't the main reason for the collapse.

Mind you they've created no articles calling out the lack of offense. Their main point was that NDs defense didn't shut everything down and create turnover and pick 6s.

I for one come here to read journalism before slap dicking on the message boards and this is just pathetic. These guys get to talk to coaches and get more inside info than we could ever dream of.

Is this the hot takes ND information site or are you guys serious? Or we just covering cuz you guys thought Denbrock was the big breakfast with hotcakes? Or you're worried about being booted from interviews if you write a slam piece?

Perhaps the booing started here...

Ian Book. Dude was 35-5 as a starter, navigated two undefeated regular seasons, and his teams made the 4-team CFB Playoff twice. If you booed IB, IMO, that was a you problem.

Tommy Rees as a QB took a lot of criticism. From all angles. So the booing would not surprise me there.
I can't remember the game but Ian ran for a touchdown (probably the winning score) after being maligned by the home crowd and he made some kind of gesture as if to say, "Now what do you think?" Someone with a better memory, please refresh mine.

BK post pressure….

No. Kelly ate 3 servings of home cooked hospitatility....and stayed another 90 minutes, while entirely disenginuous. Merriweather's father spoke to that directly....calling it "bullshit". And that's what it was. You might buy into the excuses for Kelly's false face.....I don't....and won't. Recruiting games does not excuse dishonesty. On the other hand....Kelly did us a favor...he confirmed that he belonged elsewhere. If there is a STRAWMAN....He looks like Brian Kelly.
That is effin' hilarious. I don't remember all the details of that fateful evening but apparently you do. First it was the meal itself, and now the fact that he apparently he had three servings, which is somehow salt in the wound to you. Really it's merely more ammunition for your truly pathetic case against BK the scumbag, when the truth is you're simply a pathological hater who totally hated and denigrated and reviled him for years and years before this exceedingly minor and unavoidable incident that you now transparently use as the phony basis and justification for your seething animosity.

Personally, I don't give a shit what this kid's dad thinks. Welcome to the real world, pops. Maybe you have a boring and serene 9 to 5 existence where everything is safe and on schedule. But BK flaps wings with the big boys, and sometimes in life you have to improvise. Somehow I'm guessing the sentiment wouldn't have been much different, nor would BK have gotten any more credit had he just busted out the news right then and there instead of asking for another plate of ribs. He was trying to spare you. But instead you just act all befuddled and indignant. And sure enough your kid is a bust and transfers out after two years of underachieving. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree....

And that's your laughable stick you try and beat BK with. That sorry-ass little anecdote which if anything makes BK look like the bigger man, and the magnanimous one.

Michigan vs Texas

Such denial. You guys aren't winning anything else with your cheating khaki pants coach running to the NFL. He knew when to get out of Dodge. Now Ohio State will go back to owning you like they did for 20 years before the last few years. You guys cheat in basketball too. Nice program.
BTW, your team is about to go 7-5 and get a Los Angeles Bowl invite. Say hello to Snoop Dogg. (28-7 Purdue)

Where's Golson5?

I don't get it. This is a head scratcher to go after Leonard when you have Angeli who is more than capable.

Not gonna say Angeli is better than Leonard, but i dont get the appeal about Leonard. Look at what I just read:

Over his last 9 starts going back to the start of last year, Riley Leonard:

Has completed 133 of 227 pass attempts (an atrocious 58%)
Has thrown only 3 TD passes
Has thrown 5 interceptions
