It’s a negative situation

WR is a mess, and not looking good for 26 either. Our 24 class, 2 of the 3 must turn out really good or WR will be a weakness when we have potentially really good throwing QBs.

We wasted the 23 season with poor WR play.
You can always get solid wrs in the portal

Greathouse
Faison
Smith
Williams
Gilbert
Saldate
Burress

Then if you get 1 of Richardson or Bettis to be solid and transfers we'll be fine.

Is it where we want to be, no. It's it a mess, also no. People don't realize how good Burress is yet and that is making people more nervous

I usually will put some effort into my responses and provide all the numbers and data and evidence available. Site a bunch of sources use a bunch of advanced ranking systems cite the consolidated view of a prospect in the industry as rated by the professionals etc etc etc but I've done all that a million times and it simply doesn't resonate certainly not with you so I'm not even going to bother this time

I'll just say that I wish I could be as naive as you and find some kind of hope in this hopeless AF situation
Man you are boring........repetitive and bring nothing of interest to me so I'm not sure why I took you off ignore before but I know why I'm putting you back on ignore.

Fighting Kelly’s of LSU

Brian Kelly tends to have seasons where he's all in or all out (thinking of some of the up and down seasons during the first half or so of his ND career).

LSU literally has nothing to play for at this point. It wouldn't surprise me if they've collectively mailed it in and LSU has one of those seasons where the bottom just kind of falls out from under it only to return next year refreshed and better than ever.
You've clearly never played, or for that matter been involved in sports other than as a spectator. You're such a fool. BK, the staff, and the players just mailing it in. 😂

Underwood to Michigan

I agree. Depending on how the bracket shakes out we might not see one of those top 5-6 teams until the last round or two. But what value is there in winning a couple of rounds of playoff games only to be a major underdog at some point and predictably get beat ?

I guess i'd rather watch ND win some playoff games than not, but at what point does ND do what it takes to bridge the gap so that they have more of a 50-50 chance instead of a 30-70 chance when they inevitably run into a higher tier team?

And for the record here is how i would 'tier' the playoff level teams through week 12 (using F+):

tier 1: OSU
tier 2: Oregon, Texas, Alabama, Ole Miss
tier 3: Georgia, PSU, Notre Dame
tier 4: Indiana, Miami, Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Clemson

ND is a back end tier 3 team (and would be an underdog vs all the teams listed ahead of them to one degree or another).
Georgia pounded Texas in Austin.

Texas never was really in that game.

This team

Agree.

I wonder if Golden even wants a HC job? He'll be 56 by the start of next season. He's clearly found his niche and is making great money at ND. Like you said- they've got a real shot to win a title. Could Golden go somewhere else and win a title, as HC? I'd probably doubt it. He could coach D here for 5 more years, win a TON of games, make a bunch of money, then sail off into the sunset after having a helluva career in football and at ND. He'd forever be revered by the ND football family and fanbase.

That's pure speculation on my part. I have no idea what Al wants his future to be. Maybe he's chomping at the bit for an HC job.

But as long as they keep paying him....he's got it pretty damn good here.
My feeling is this...
He's just killing some time until PSU comes calling and they will be calling. Might be in a couple years but they're calling. You write that down.

Franklin is EXACTLY like Brian Kelly.
Fools gold. Perhaps less of a clown than Brian Kelly but still simply fools gold.

PSU has had an easy schedule this year with one tough game. OSU @ home and they lost that game. AGAIN! 7 or 8 losses in a row to OSU. 🙄🙄🙄

P.s.
Open the damn vault up and make AG the highest paid assistant coach in the country and keep him until the PSU call happens. Nothing will stop him from finishing out his career at his Graceland.

Army - CFP

No chance. It would be an absolute fluke. They'd be extremely fortunate to win one game of an 8 game SEC schedule. The worse team in the SEC is significantly more talented than Army. Beat a bunch ? Like who ?
Nonsense.

Vanderbilt lost to Georgia State.

Miss state got beat by Toledo by 24

Kentucky has 6 losses

Auburn lost to California

Oklahoma beat Houston by 4

Arkansas lost to Oklahoma State by 8

To act like Army couldn't beat any of these teams is an obvious SEC bias for sure.

Would they, who knows. Can they on a given day, absolutely
