Not even closeCignetti reminds me of Tom Crean.
I just don't see long term success for that guy.
I dont disagree, but it's a bad look if south Carolina, Bama, Miss get in over ASU, IU, Boise. This way you can have both and say have at it and no one can say we didn't get a fair chance or right teams weren't selected.16 teams is too much. The talent gap is just too great right now, even with NIL. Game #3, close to being a blowout as we near halftime.
Did you watch the IU v OSU game?Cignetti ran his mouth all week before they played OSU - just like he did against ND. He earlier said OSU sucks. The final score was OSU 38 - Indiana 15 and the score doesn't come close to the beatdown OSU put on Indiana.
OSU and ND were the only two top 25 teams Indiana played all year and it showed against both. Indiana and SMU should not have been in the Playoffs
been a load of crap so far!Texas is too good for Clemson. This game's playing out similarly to the first two. I think OSU-Tenn will be the best game of the first round.
Big two little whatever….Indiana sucked arse. You are probably right, but they don’t play in the SEC, they are in the Big 10.
The UT player did not see him coming. It was a good call. Too bad for Clemson. Lost four points there.Man thats not a blindside block. Player saw him. Tough break for Clemson
He was throat punched last night!Good coach but he’s a loud mouth. He’s the Rex Ryan of CFB. Stop talking trash and let your team’s play do the talking. IU was completely outclassed today and outcoached. Google the box score…
You are probably right, but they don’t play in the SEC, they are in the Big 10.Indiana doesn’t make the CFB playoff if they played in the SEC. Zero chance.
16 teams is too much. The talent gap is just too great right now, even with NIL. Game #3, close to being a blowout as we near halftime.I think the best solution is to play 12 game seasons, no conference championships, 16 team playoff over the course of 4 weeks. This way you get the most talented and also the most deserving a chance. Is it perfect? No, buy I think it's closest to fair.
2nd place in the ACC does not belong, no matter how much politicking is involved. I don't even know if the ACC champ belongs.A team that loses three games against mediocre teams, no matter what conference, is not one of the best teams deserving to play for the National Championship. Doesn't matter how much politicking is involved.
NIU=Pittsburgh Steelers. He's no different than several posters on this board.
They're never satisfied and most of the time when ND beats a good team they later claim "They're not really that good".
Best 16, no one should get a byeAnd Notre Dame lost to Northern Illinois.
If SMU was in the SEC they MIGHT win 6 games. And you know it. The 2 teams you’re comparing aren’t playing comparable competition.
I don’t have a problem with the ACC champion being in the playoff. But this season, the ACC is not on the same level as other conferences. They’re just not. Pick the BEST 12 teams and stop being worried about offending people.
