If Hoosiers (also) had Ducks & Domers on their schedule they would not been in the pigskin final 12.

These "if's" are all dumb talking points. There are literally thousands of "If's" that can be made.
If SMU beats Clemson, Clemson is out
If Alabama beats a very average Oklahoma they are in
If Alabama beats a very average Vanderbilt they are in
If Miami beats Syracuse they are in
If Miami beats Syracuse, GT, and wins the ACCCG they are in with a bye.

Do you see how dumb these "if's" are.

The facts are Indiana won 11 games against the schedule they had and the others that didn't make the playoffs didn't.

Some say ND doesn't belong because they lost to NIU and their schedule wasn't as difficult as it normally is.

I dont disagree, but it's a bad look if south Carolina, Bama, Miss get in over ASU, IU, Boise. This way you can have both and say have at it and no one can say we didn't get a fair chance or right teams weren't selected.

OSU and ND were the only two top 25 teams Indiana played all year and it showed against both. Indiana and SMU should not have been in the Playoffs

Did you watch the IU v OSU game?
IU had their punter drop a snap deep in their own end. They gave up a punt return for a TD and Day tried to run up the score with a very late TD when they probably should have taken a knee. Karma got him the next week vs Michigan.

2nd place in the ACC does not belong, no matter how much politicking is involved. I don't even know if the ACC champ belongs.

If SMU was in the SEC they MIGHT win 6 games. And you know it. The 2 teams you’re comparing aren’t playing comparable competition.

I don’t have a problem with the ACC champion being in the playoff. But this season, the ACC is not on the same level as other conferences. They’re just not. Pick the BEST 12 teams and stop being worried about offending people.
