If Boise upsets Penn State and ND beats Georgia, ND is probably going to the national title game

Penn State is a much better team/program than Boise State is and an ND vs Penn St. game would be a significantly more difficult game/path to the national title than vs Boise.

If Boise upsets Penn State, and ND beats Georgia, Notre Dame will be a big favorite/high percentage chance for win vs Boise thus putting ND one win away from a national title.

Just pointing out that the likelihood for a national title is looking more attenable this season than it has in a really long time. Since the prime Lou Holtz era maybe?

Fans should be legit excited. Marcus Freeman has ND at the doorstep.
I'm routing for Boise

When you consider that these bowl games are basically exhibition games at this point, with many of the 2 deep opting out or not playing to heal up (or guys transferred out) it's hard to use these games to evaluate a team's playoff worthiness.
The SC v IL doesn't look like an exhibition game

Alabama AD to reevaluate nonconference slate after CFP picks

Total nonsense. Bama was left out of the playoffs as a result of three conference losses (Tennessee, Vandy and Oklahoma). The OU loss, which occurred near the end of the season, was particularly bad. Losing by 21 points to a 6-6 team doesn't cut it.
Exactly
Don't lose a quarter of your games especially against two 6-6 teams

Anyone watching the USCjr/IL Game

Beamer might fight Bileama or whatever his name is at the end of the game. Bret is a grade a A-hole. This defensive substitution to run out the play clock is getting out of control. Something needs to change.

For those of watching Beamer has been visibly upset that throughout the game as Illinois has been ridiculously slow putting players in to run down the play clock on defensive substitutions. It’s been beyond obnoxious all game long and not sure how they get away with it. Then when a IL player was hurt near USC sideline Brett goes over to check on the player but he really couldn’t have given a shit. He just took the opportunity to walk by the USC team and coaches huddled and gave the substitution signal taunting Beamer. Beamer lost his shit

I enjoy watching the SEC lose but I hope USC kicks their asses this 4th qtr. they just went up by 3

More NIL insanity

If the Supreme Court ruled in harmony with society at the time of their ruling, then they were not unjust in their rulings.

But if you’re a total idiot, and you view things that happened 200 years ago in the context of today’s society, then you’re beyond help
ITs like those that say the constitution does not apply to things like the internet or anything not invented at the time. Just plain stupid.

Notre Dame should be advertising Marcus Freeman/Al Golden/Mike Denbrock's player development & scheme hardcore to beef up their recruiting efforts

These three coaches might be three of the best at their jobs in the sport right now. Notre Dame should have a campaign out right now advertising these coaches recent accomplishments, especially talking up the player development angle.

I wouldn't let an ND target on the recruiting trail go about their business not knowing how strong the Marcus Freeman Al Golden Mike Denbrock trio at ND is. There's now a lot of good data/evidence out there that indicates these are some of the very top coaches in the game right now.

Not to mention the other great coaches on the staff like Mickens (DBs), Washington (DL), McCullough (RB), and Rudolph (OL)

ND has the best collection of coaches in football. These coaches will develop you and put you in a position to succeed better than almost any other coaching staff out there. Every recruit should know it. Then back it up with a top 5 NIL budget in the range of $20M on the recruiting trail.

ND would then have the building blocks for another Lou Holtz era like run.
You should adhere to the adage that it’s better to keep your mouth shut and have people think that you’re an idiot rather than open your mouth and prove that you are an idiot
