The collectives at every school work in conjunction with the respective schools compliance department. Our agency partners with schools athletic departments and compliance offices in an advisory capacity. Absolutely they know what each athlete in all sports is receiving through NIL collectives. Not directly but you can’t tell me the school doesn’t at least know what’s going on with the “collectives”.
Freeman is going to get at minimum 5 years unless recruiting goes to sh1t.The "fire Freeman" stuff is just silly.
Does anyone think Bevacqua would make waves like this his first year and fire the football coach? I don't.
Even at 9-3, I think Freeman is back for 25. And I'm good with that.
StepBrothers.Chaseball and 88ND in the same thread.
Nausea.
I checked the embarrassing games of the past, Marshall, 2022-Stanford. The pattern is easy to see. We lost none of those games by being outscored 48-45 big12-style shootout. In all of them we would go 3 quarters without much scoring. Then any 4th qtr the over is deadly. Our offense sucks. It sucked against A&M and it sucked even worse against NIU and that's why we lost. The defense is playoff and maybe even championship caliber. And the offense is fair to middling and even lousy in every category and position group. I don't know exactly where RL fits into that mix, and just how middling or not he really is, regardless of his stats at the end of the day. But we cannot generate offense and yards and points predictably and reliably enough. Which is a shame because the defense is excellent.
So hopefully we get better.
Citation needed.Yes. The three time champion of FCS.
The FCS champion is usually better than most MAC teams.
He even wound up and heaved that...That interception he threw was one of the worst passes I’ve ever seen
the question is...You’re right! I’m critical of the play of our OL, but Riley compounds their pass protection when he leaves the pocket so damn soon. Several times, he should have stepped forward, and completed his progressions. Instead, he didn’t trust his line and left the pocket to be pressured by the DE that Wagner was pushing to the outside.
I’m not one to quickly jump on the change the qb wagon, but Riley’s passing has been terrible overall in our two games. He has thrown some good sideline passes, but I hold my breath every time he goes to pass because we have zero clue as to what we will see, as do the receivers. Not sure which of the three qb’s sitting on the bench should start, and an argument can be made for each of them; but I think this team needs a very loud wake-up call and getting a significant upgrade to our passing game is critical to salvaging this season.
I said it a long time ago Golden needed whatever he asked for and then some.I think if we played Texas or Georgia we would find out the defense is not championship caliber. Playoff caliber perhaps.
Agree.Freeman was not what I was alluding to..verdict is still out on Freeman
Never saw this poster after the TAM game.as stated in the first my first coaching criticism...
Either they are afraid of failure just because or they know Riley can't make those throws.
Either way it is wrong.
Moreover are you also suggesting that someone who has enough between the ears to attend Duke and now our beloved that he can't be trusted to call an audible and change the play?
Your whole response is a fitting ND type performance kind of response.
as stated in the first my first coaching criticism...Quarterbacks can only run the plays that the coaches call !
When you have an endowment worth nearly 20 billion, which funds everything under the sun at Notre Dame...to the tune of around 600-million a year, you would think so.Not directly but you can’t tell me the school doesn’t at least know what’s going on with the “collectives”.
