I Didn’t think you could be that dumb, but you’ve proved me wrongNot great credentials for a college coach. Different animal. Those " credentials " you allude to certainly did him no good at the collegiate level. What good is being able to recruit players but not have the ability to develop them ? Lots of coaches in New England had multiple Super Bowl rings and few if any of them found success once they left New England. How do you explain the fact that when the roster consisted mostly of players he recruited the worse the team was ? He was bad, period. Let's not forget the fact that despite all those great credentials you claim he had he was NDs fifth or sixth choice for the position. Hardly a positive endorsement. The number of SB rings is 3 not 4.
This isn’t about whether or not he was a successful head coach. It’s about whether or not he was a successful recruiter.

His credentials were almost impeccable
But it’s good to see that you’re still are capable of 20-20 hindsight
