It remains to be seen if he achieves the upside potential BK says he has, but he is definitely struggling to find and hit open receivers at this point in his college career. And I agree that the final score was not indicative of how close this game was and how inept the Irish offense looked at times. BUT, we take the W and live to fight another day.

ND fans overhyped their QB?? I think he'll be fine, hasn't played a game in what, 2-3 years?

Funny, when ND airs it out and has success yet loses, fans scream to run the ball. When the run for 500 yards, they don't have a capable passer.

He will be fine....one game does not define a QB. Just give him a few more games.....

I agree totally with the OP. He is a great running back but an absolutely lousy passer. He may have only three starts, but this is his third year with the team.

I was thinking this exactly, but didm't want to start a controversy. Move Wimbush to wideout or running back and make Booker the QB. It has been a long time since ND has had consistency at QB; or a top QB that plays the position for multiple years. Will see what happens against Michigan State.

He clearly is uncomfortable in the pocket. Guy hasn't played in quite some time so he may learn to sit in the pocket and work his progressions, but I think ND is going to have to pound the run and use him as run first to open up some wr's downfield. Doesn't help that our best athlete and wr still hasn't played a down.

The good thing he is a very good running QB.
