I don’t see the connection, please explainProbably the same reason that we don't have an NBC contract after 2025.
USC just joined the Big 10, so that ain’t it.USC is trying to force ND into the BIG 10!!!!
What does that have to do with the question?Probably the same reason that we don't have an NBC contract after 2025.
With USC joining the Big 10 and having residual commitments in the PAC 12, I wouldn’t be so sure of that.I wouldn’t worry about it. SC is going nowhere.
Let’s see if Bama stays on the schedule, which I’m skeptical of. The big/sec schedules going forward look to be pretty challenging plus a ccg for the best. Why would an SC/Bama etc want to further jeopardize their playoff opportunities with a very demanding ooc game vs us.? The conference teams will have plenty of opportunities for resume building we will have to hope great teams want to take on another challenge. And by not having a ccg we are somewhat at the mercy of 3/4 excellent teams wanting to take on more risk. Sure we can win 10/11 vs pretty weak competition but is that going to be interesting for the fan base to watch and enough to get into the playoffs? With USC joining the Big 10 and having residual commitments in the PAC 12, I wouldn’t be so sure of that.
Under the inflated playoff a 2 loss Bama team is still a lock to be included. We will probably see a 9-3 SEC team as well. No one down south is going to be worried they might drop one to ND.Let’s see if Bama stays on the schedule, which I’m skeptical of. I think you’re right about 9-3 getting in from sec for sure. But look at LSU schedule going forward and others. Why do they want to risk traveling to SB and playing one more really difficult game? They’re not going to do it for the $. And while we get to create our own schedules with no ccg the sec and big will be going crazy. This isn’t decades ago when there were no CCG’S and our schedules were the pride of college footballUnder the inflated playoff a 2 loss Bama team is still a lock to be included.
