I don't think the poster's concern was with the impact on Kelly, I double he care t all about football message boards, it may be the experience here that he is thinking of. Thoughtless attacks don't help the discussion, they led to animosity between posters. This tuns to vile insults, one poster against another. Generally these are the sort of things someone would not say to anther's face.

For a while, the Pro Kelly crowd dominated the board and any opinion expressed against Kelly were met with a collection of attacks. It has changed a little since Kelly shit the bed.
